It's not hard at all... the concepts at least.

 

I fucking hated first year math though. Two courses. One about derivatives, the other about integrals.

 

Not too difficult, except they courses had applications to life sciences. So they questions would grasp at straws to try to relate the question to some protein or bodily function which was totally inaccurate. And the wording was just complete shit, making setting up the correct equation and understanding the question the hardest part. Which is crap cause I could do the math but not set it up. Still got B's in both, but could've done better if it was better put together. Useless application crap.

God, calculus was a nightmare. Like seriously.

I took calculus this semester and last year in high school, and I've already forgotten everything. :P

I had to look up differentiation and integration, because I get the two mixed up.

 

But they're both easy. And fun. :shy:

I am almost certain its reputation comes from the innumerable applications of calculus, which (I guess?) are harder. But calculus itself is nawt hard.

I was 15 when I learn differentiation and integration in 2 weeks. It's not hard.

Math and I aren't exactly on the same page. I don't enjoy it one bit.

 

I find the humanities and various sciences much more fascinating.

Well, I don't remember doing equations in my bio class. But I suppose bio isn't pure in that sense, as it's largely theoretical? Now physics and chem on the other hand....*shudder*
