Something's Gotta Give with Jack N. and Diane Keaton is excellent. Diane Keaton looked so hot in that movie, even though she was past 50.

There was one movie I heard was really bad cuz of the blood and stuff but I forget what it was.

Oh, Sweeny Todd, but that's a musical thingerdoodle so...

I've seen it.

It's ok :nice:

I'm not looking just for scary movies, Silence of the lambs isn't horror per se, it's psychological thriller, I love those :P But dark humour would be appreciated too.

Erm.. The Blind Side maybe?

oh! That movie with kate winslet.. I can't remember the name of it:thinking:

You know, I watch this movie a while back and it made me cry. It was quite depressive but I thought it was really good but it is animated. It's called Mary and Max

The pianist?? I liked this movie and I also like 7 yrs in Tibet..

I've never seen The blind side. I'll check it out :nice:

I love The pianist!

I strongly recomend Kieslowski's trilogy: Three Colors: Blue, White and Red.

The lives of the others (Das Leben der anderen)

Pulp Fiction (The best of Tarantino, in case you have not seen it)

A Japanese movie I got to watch this year called Departures. Really beautiful.

You can also check some Roman Polanski's films (like The Pianist, Rosemary's baby, Bittermoon), he's a great director. And if you want to check something really weird and uncommon I advice films of Rainer Werner Fassbinder.

I haven't seen Requiem for a Dream... heard it's good though

It's been in my head for a while tbh. I think I'm gonna love it!

I've listened to the song, love it.

doesn't matter. though you're probably thinking of the reader or revolutionary road.

Das Leben der anderen is an amazing movie. I watched it 4 times during my year off school. I love it.

I've always been a bit sensitive about movies like Rosemary's baby.

But I'll check the rest of those, specially the first you mentioned.

The Reader was really good, though a bit depressing.

Revolutionary Road was really well done, but probably the most depressing movie I've ever seen.

These may not be movies you are looking for Alexa, but I really love Mr. Holland's Opus, The Terminal, and Once a lot

anything by Ingmar Bergman. The Seventh Seal, Wild Strawberries, Winter Light, Summer with Monika, Persona etc.

I love Woody Allen as well.

I'd advice also The Reader... with Kate Winslet... based on Bernhard Schlink's book of the same name, which I really want to read.

And if you're interested in romantic films, I'd advice two days in Paris.

There's a song called Requiem for a dream

are you referring to the soundtrack then? even then, I thought it was funny to expect to like the movie based on that.

Yes.

No, I read about the movie and my brother talked about it the other day. From what I read and heard, I think I'll love it.
