Tnspieler1012
How you refer to someone usually comes down to their behavior. I typically refer to males of my age as 'guys' as opposed to 'boys' and 'men'. Boys typically become guys somewhere past the age of 17/18, but when or if a 'guy' becomes a 'man' comes down to maturity.
hotdensestate
Theory on boy/guy/man. A boy or man is a guy if he's around your age. Simple.

Prince Myshkin
Theory on boy/guy/man. A boy or man is a guy if he's around your age. Simple. i approve of this theory up until a cut off point which i have yet to decide. i cannot imagine two 90 year olds referring to each other as guys though maybe because it wasn't a prevalent word in their youth maybe it will be used in future old people's homes, where the residents include people called britney and troy, instead of vera and albert. what a strange place that would be

Macintosh
Lady or girl would be pretty right variant. I'm sure that girls don't feel ok when people use to call them women. Once i called young girl in subway a woman, and she was so annoyed, she almost wanted to kill me :uhoh:
