The word "woman" or "men".

Featured Replies

I say girl, I don't consider myself a woman yet, maybe womanling, is that even a word?:laugh3:

Woman-child? Though that's teen girls usually

girls and guys.

I tend not to talk about old people, so it works.

How you refer to someone usually comes down to their behavior. I typically refer to males of my age as 'guys' as opposed to 'boys' and 'men'. Boys typically become guys somewhere past the age of 17/18, but when or if a 'guy' becomes a 'man' comes down to maturity.

So you're what.. a man?

I'm a guy. :wiseguy:

If I'm to take my last post seriously...I guess a guy, no matter how mature, cannot evolve to mandom before reaching level (age) 21 or so...

Classic Goethe quote: age doesn't make us childish as some say, it just finds us children to the end.

Theory on boy/guy/man. A boy or man is a guy if he's around your age. Simple.

i approve of this theory up until a cut off point which i have yet to decide.

i cannot imagine two 90 year olds referring to each other as guys

though maybe because it wasn't a prevalent word in their youth

maybe it will be used in future old people's homes, where the residents include people called britney and troy, instead of vera and albert. what a strange place that would be

I belong to the guy/girl category at the moment. I can't ever imagine calling myself a woman... it sounds so... old.

I really need to watch my mouth (well, typing...) around you don't I greg? :p

Perhaps I should have said "I call people guys and girls" to be more clear for you :laugh3:

if you aren't going to admit to being a transexual sex fiend then there is no hope for you

yeah, you're lucky i haven't started simply changing what you have said when i quote you :P

Hmm well thanks for the warning then I suppose. I'll have to watch you closely :sneaky:

And I will never admit to that! You can't make me! I don't tell lies :smug:

Lady or girl would be pretty right variant. I'm sure that girls don't feel ok when people use to call them women. Once i called young girl in subway a woman, and she was so annoyed, she almost wanted to kill me :uhoh:
