But anyways, why does my iPod keep pausing itself? Is it because of my dollar store headphones or does it need fixed? :bomb:

Try resetting to factory settings and checking to see if there is any updates to the iPod software itself.

Well, it could be the jack of your headphones. Especially cheap ones can have loose connections possibly causing the iPod to pause because it thinks the headphones are disconnected.

 

Do you have different headphones at hand to give it another try with? Hopefully it's your headphones - if it's your iPod's audio socket you need to get it repaired.

I'm gonna buy some new headphones, because mine kinda suck anyways, so I'll try that before I see if it's actually a problem.
