With everyone else doing these I figured I'd make a week dedicated to one of my favorite bands. I don't know when this will take place but post in here to let me know what albums you want to do.

 

I call dibs on Abbey Road! :P :D

 

This is what each day will consist of:

Day 1 (Nov. 7): Please Please Me, With The Beatles

Day 2 (Nov. 8): A Hard Days Night, Beatles for Sale, Help!

Day 3 (Nov. 9): Rubber Soul, Revolver

Day 4 (Nov. 10): Sgt. Pepper, Magical Mystery Tour

Day 5 (Nov. 11): The White Album

Day 6 (Nov. 12): Let it Be, Abbey Road

Day 7 (Nov. 13): Singles Day (pretty much Past Masters Volume 1 & 2)/Yellow Submarine (so few new songs that appear)

I am thinking I would like to sign up for something. Abbey Road is taken so possibly Sgt. Peppers or something.

If we can do individual albums, I want "Past Masters, Vol. 2," mostly because it's the one I have the most knowledge about. I know I mentioned I'm not as keen on The Beatles as other things, but I do listen to them, and I think weeks like these is a great way to be an active part of the forum, which is something I want to do. :)

I have a 20 year old book about "poetry in rock music" and Eleanor Rigby is in it. That song's got some good lyrics. :nice:

i just feel the song is overrated, but everyone has their own opinions so it's no big deal.

 

I guess I feel there are so many more songs that I like besides that one.
