I just can't get into his voice... it really irritates me. Plus my town is swarming with pretentious indie kids that worship him. Sort of a similar effect with Animal Collective, though not as extreme.

 

Eddie did though play a song from his new album that I really liked, but I think it's because his vocals were so different. For me vocals make or break my initial liking for a band regardless of arrangement.
