Arts or science?

Featured Replies

I'm confussed... I still don't know what am I... guess that both but don't know what degree I should follow...

I prefer arts over science. But that's just me. :smug:

And I also like your avi. :drunk:

you mean like a B.A. vs. B.S.? NM. I'm assuming the system is very different in Spain (i.e. I have no idea what you're talking about).

I do art and then biology and chemistry in school and they're the subjects I do the best in and love the most :nice:

I just don't know which one I prefer more :bigcry: and want to do when I leave school.

I'm swayed towards science though.

Oh and system must be totally different here ^ :blank: so i'm just replying how i can :charming:

B.A? B.S? What's that? the expresion here is Ciencias o letras... what would be: Science or letters. Letters are languages, history, philo, psicology, cinema, arts, journalism...

Scinene: biology, maths, chemestry, medicine, technology related...

Here the same... I love biology and I like maths... however I love history and philosophy...

So does this pertain at all to university, or are you just asking what we like more in general?

^ Not everyone here goes to university I guess... so what do you prefer?

Fucking hell Chris you're taking this way too scientifically. It's a general question about life.

I'm much better at sciences, as I can understand them better, yet I still greatly appreciate art, simply because I'm amazed that some people can do things which I'm terrible at.

Music is the exception for me...

Science is esencial for life, but so arts. Life would suck without art. Imagine a world where you couldn't express yourself, a world without music. Now imagine a world withouttechnology or having a life average of 40.

But if you're asking on what to study for college, I'd say science, much more practical and likely to succeed.

maybe... but... I¡m afraid to get bored...

I love biology but I'm dreading going back to class.

We had this completely shit teacher the last few weeks before summer.

She accused me of reading on the next few pages when i answered a hard question

Then she'd see me talking in class and try to catch me not paying attention and ask me a hard question, I'd always know the answer, TAKE THAT BITCH! :p

oh okay, yeah, I'm an arts person from a linguistics family. I never cared much for/I suck at math and science. English, History, Music and Philosophy for me please.

As a music education major, I'm definitely picking arts on this one. Music, among other arts, is the stuff that I'm really good at. I'm also very intrigued by linguistics; I took Spanish for all four years of high school, even though I only needed 3, just because I like the language that much. I was actually going to minor in Spanish before I found out my degree program doesn't require me to have a minor.

My brother, on the other hand, is more of a science person. He's starting college this next Monday, and he's a sports science major.

Really, I guess it just depends on who you are.

I'm definitely a science person. I like math and science, and I hate English and philosophy, though I do like history and languages.

same here:confused: i really really love biology and chemistry and i got the chance to go to one of the best universities in the country to study medicine but i turned it down and next fall i'm starting a history/archeology major, that was a very had decision:\

For me it's arts I love psychology (all though it could fall under science for some categories of psych) , philosophy, history etc. I hate math and science.

but i feel like a B.S. is more useful, but that's just my opinion.

I like science but I don't have the patience to really understand it. At school I was better at arts subjects but part of the reason was that I was lazy as fuck and laziness + science subjects = crappy marks. Now I'm studying for a Bsc although it's not really science-y.

At universities here, psychology is Bsc by the way.

dis needs a poll.

I think the question is a bit too broad for a poll...

Perhaps "Are you better with sciences or arts?" would work better.

I'm a science student. But I rather further studies in arts.

BLEHHHHHHHH TO BIOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
