"Without music, life would be a mistake."

Featured Replies

right, i'm posting this here as i guess it might get more attention than in the music section - hope that's alright.

as i'm currently writing a BA-thesis about the influence of music on (young) people's lifestyles, i would like to know how much music has influenced you in your own life. i won't specify this, please just type what comes to your mind :)

this isn't going to be part of the thesis, so it's no official research kinda thing, i'm just looking for opinions because i think it's interesting.

thank you!

ps: the quote in the title is from nietzsche.

Music is pretty much my life :nice:

I totally changed thanks to music ...

2 years ago I wasn't busy with music at all

and now it's the only thing 'I do' , I speak about ,

It's just everything to me :wacky:

EDIT :

A little add :nice:

Especially one band changed my life , you may laugh of this obsession

but yes , once again I repeat Oasis :nice:

That's just the way it is for me ...

even tho I totally missed it's top years ...

I'm now In my "teenage" years

not in the 90' unfortunatly :\

btw , my music obsession totally changed my future plans too :nice:

Music is life.

In fact, I can't remember a time when music wasn't a part of my life.

may i ask in what way? :) is it just that you're now more interested in music and everything connected with it, or has music changed you as a person as well? [you don't need to reply if it is too personal ;)]

both , I am very interested in music , and yes my whole life is connected with it !

And it changed me personally , just 'cause it is my life now ...

It IS my personallity ... If you know what I mean ?

just the way I am , the way I live ...

my thought on things ...

my future plans like I said ...

And I feel quite special

'Cause not many people are like me (here ) , I don't know any of my friends

that music had such an impact on their life , and yes they do like music a lot ...

but on the surface , youkno ?

And I fancy being different , not just folowing the rest

Some people become more insecure 'cause of being different than the rest ...

For me it works the opposite way

It makes me feel myself , what I really am !

Here is a proof for you, Anna.

Music = Life.

WHAT NOW?!

Here is a proof for you, Anna.

Music = Life.

WHAT NOW?!

Music ≠ Life

THERE

You could have life without music, but couldn't have music without life.

You could have life without music, but couldn't have music without life.

*Bows*

Music-both singing/playing and listening to it- has saved my life, on more than one occasion.

Music can make me feel better than anything else in this world. There's something about that beat, those chords, those amazing lyrics that come straight from the heart- there's nothing else like it that can express human emotion better. It's just, the best that there is. It's all there is. My life revolves around music, I know that sounds corny, but it does.

Music is a huge part of my life , it has the power to make us cry smile make us want to dance .

For some perculier reason it gives me this sense of security.

Heres a thread I Made ages ago I Was curious about how Coldplays music Made people feel AND Whether it helped them ........ http://www.coldplaying.com/forum/showthread.php?t=70799

Dunno if this helps but anyway :\

For my part always the music in my life until 2005 specifically of A-ha in my life, stay alive in my life many occasion for suicide because it reflects my life real in reality dreamed to be living is to be dead in real life but not them in reality have a family and built their lives :

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0LNNcCruDGs]YouTube - a-ha live - Dream Myself Alive (HD) - NIA, Birmingham - 02-11 2009[/ame]

but now never more listen music in my home have break my life because before I was alive by the music, but not by the people in my life, invisible, nothing for them and now not alive more by the music nor the people in my life.

is too much complicated my relationship to music is like being alien.

but have real band is as my real life. but reflect nevertheless as my life and have many sound for hide the emptiness.

H.S

the music is not life . because if I have a boyfriend is he really sacrificed his life for music only.......

for Coldplay not know is the generation after A-ha, but is a band unique Coldplay with their own story any copy, and is a music alive , my friend fan of Coldplay (the person who invited me in Coldplaying ) have many energy in life even if it's difficult life :)
