Well "stronger" in the sense that if you come through something like that, it makes you stronger as a person.

I can't say that any of the songs she's released since her return have been particularly memorable, but at least she hasn't resorted to dressing up like a clown, as Gargoyle has.

Yeh I agree with that. I'm not a big fan of Gaga, you can almost see the wheels turning behind the scenes, doing everything they can to shock her way to fame. For me its a facade, but I think a couple of her songs are ok and credit must be given because she writes her own music (as far as I know). But Kylie is light years (good kylie song) from her in terms of music and persona.

I like it :(

lol me too, its eerie. I would have preferred Chris to sing the verse and Kylie the Chorus tho, which is how is was originally.

How exactly does she give the victimised lonely impression?

Have you not seen any of her interviews?? An Ellen interview springs to mind.

I really don't blame him. She is so low. She had an incredibly priviledged backround and somehow portrays herself as some victimised, reject of society making 'new music' when in reality she is some pseudo avant garde crock of shite making glorified dance music.

Yes, because you are rich means you cannot have any problems at all, oh no. Not even emotional ones.

You, sir, suck for making that ridiculous broad generalization.

That's not what I'm saying. Please read carefully. I state she 'portrays' herself as victimised and lonely when in reality she had a very good upbringing from what I've heard. Disgusting isn't it.

I'm really not gonna bother if you're just gonna say 'portrays' as if she is deliberately doing so for the hell of it, without considering that maybe, POSSIBLY she feels quite lonely and such herself, even if she had a 'good upbringing'. People can have issues and still have a 'good upbringing', surprise surprise.

Hmm... Im gonna insert mah opinion where it was not asked for

Im torn

half of me sides with Howyousawtheworld because..

I do think its glorified 90's dance music

and since I didnt come from ...ahem a rich/decent upbringing.. although what is considering how things are.... an average one... I do get that feeling of

WTF you grew up in suburbia with your parents all normal and shit... so what the fuck do you have to complain about?

...Like I feel as if its... ungrateful because I know I would kill to grow up like that, and they did, and they dont appreciate it.

BUT

Seeing how my friend grew up normal

2 loving parents, a sister, no tragic accidents and a nice home (although they were hoarders)... and she had issues with cutting and thoughts of suicide.. I see that money and upbringing doesn't always ensure a happy life...

my friend chalked it all up to a chemical imbalance in her brain... which is something that can happen to anyone regardless of outside factors ...(although heredity may have something to do with it im guessing)

So.... Im on the fence.. and I get where your both coming from.

And... yeah that is all. :uhoh:

:o Its halloween, not April 1st!

Which is why we're talking about "freaks", not fools.................................. :P

That's what I mean. It's all a big deception aimed purely at generating mega-bucks.:dozey:

Ellen Degenerate?:P

That has nothing to do with it. The fact is she's pretending to be something she isn't, and therefore making money through "deception".:dozey:

I don't care what her background is, or what issues she may or may not have from her past.

I just think people would have far more respect for her if she just acted herself and didn't hide behind a "mask" all the time.

It's impossible to connect with someone who's clearly being "fake".;)

Marks gonna be gutted when he finds out the concept of acting, and that thousands of people in his favourite movies are using deception to take money from him. Daniel Radcliffe isn't a real wizard you know

Maybe she doesn't want you to connect to her. Maybe other people can connect with her character.

Not Hermione?

Adults enjoying Harry Potter is pretty lame, considering the amount of literature about. It's not particularly well written and it's pretty god damn cheesey. Great for youngsters/early teens though.

I wanna be a leader, not a know it all ;)

But Dumbledor's Dumbledead.
