FUCK SPICE GIRLS AND BOYZONE!!

Featured Replies

Adults enjoying Harry Potter is pretty lame, considering the amount of literature about. It's not particularly well written and it's pretty god damn cheesey. Great for youngsters/early teens though.

I know it's not great literature but I've been reading it since I was 10, it's been a big part of my childhood. It's one of those things you can't let go off :(

I disagree

and what do you mean "the amount of literature about it"

why would the number of books matter when someone likes it?

nerdy sure

but so are most things with a cult following

and nerds are awesome

because being indifferent and cool and snarky is so damn overrated.

I agree, the reason its so insanely popular is because it is so well written, she didn't even aim it at children, she wrote it for herself so thats why adults like it too. The genre and demographic do not affect the quality of the literature.

people seem to like to argue a lot on this forum

Oh, really? Whatever gave you that impression?

I didn't say 'the amount of literature about it'. I said the amount of literature about, and I meant in the world. There is a wealth of literature out there, why go crazy about kids books? I'm not bothered about youngsters liking it. I read like 4 of them when I was of that age, but then I grew up.

Why go crazy about "kids" books?

Why give a shit if someone else who you deem to old for it enjoys it?

Literature is no different then music, if it doesnt float your boat why should it have to sink everyone else's?

If Mark likes it let him have at it.

I know you have it out for him but if your going to try and insult him or say shit ... then say it to him and not insinuate/use picking at something he enjoys as a coverup.

Because your going to offend a lot more people than him that way

and no, Im not just referring to myself.

Kthnxbai.

The world's a tough place in reality and here on Coldplaying, if you act like a total moron people tend to get pissed off and argue.

Also if you make threads that define people's religious beliefs for them- that also seems to create arguments, if you're surprised by this then unfortunately you are a moron.

I only read the first two lines.

of coarse...

Thats life.

Unfortunately EVERYONE has internet access

And since everyone is safely hidden behind their avi and pc screen, its easy to become a little bitch and say horrible things when you dont have to worry about someone punching you in the face for it.

Id love to see everyone in coldplaying in one room and see how differently everyone behaves.

yes I have noticed that, and I'm ashamed to say this but I am also a little more aggressive on the internet than I am in real life :(

I would say the same to your face. My opinions on Harry Potter are my opinions, and if I was asked about it I'd share my opinions.

yep, I dont tone down my opinions in real life either, not to anyone.

no one asked you

You really do have an issue with confrontation.

Just a reminder: this is a forum and other forum members can see what you post- and they have a reply button! Scary.

not really

and i wasnt saying that to be rude

he said he would put in his opinion where it was asked for

i pointed out that it wasnt...

the end.

why the fuck are we even discussing that in this thread...

how wonderfully off topic.

Well great you are right he happened to ask it in that manner, the point of how you can't deal with opinions that conflict with yours still remains.
