Not that Wikipedia is the greatest source, but... um, no.

"Many publications incorrectly credit DST's invention to the prominent English builder and outdoorsman William Willett, who independently conceived DST in 1905 during a pre-breakfast ride, when he observed with dismay how many Londoners slept through a large part of a summer day."

Benjamin Franklin kind of "came up with the idea", but it was first proposed by George Vernon Hudson. Mneh.

Ha, ok thanks, I must of read one of the articles that incorrectly credit him for it. Still cool that he is Chris Martin's g g grandfather.

we have changed it already, thought should do it at 2am.

internet was lost for a good 30 minutes here, my dad 'bet' it is for the time change

anyways it made me think how dangerous day it can be if it cause any big failure in any machine that people need really much., for instance at hospitals and some transports.

... true?

for when they say so?

does it have anything to do with the clock time change?

no it has nothing to do with clock changes

the earth experiances solar flares every year, but there might be a really bad one that could destroy our satellites and electronics, but we don't know when it might hit.

odd, but it had happened before, i remember other times, i hope it won't cause much damage, i think last time we had some troubles in comunications for some days.

so... i happened to post on a wrong thread at random.. i mean is about the clock time change or not? :embarrassed: for once that i was posting without checking the first post.

Half ten is such a healthier time to wake up than half eleven.

Congrats to the clocks.

I was sleeping when the fire alarm of the hotel rang...

I Never got a lie in because I had to feed the calves this morning at what was 9 o clock, we just start earlier :blank:

I still woke up late (12:30) just not as ridiculously late if the clocks hadn't gone back.
