Are you an Organ Donor?

Featured Replies

I didn't deny the liver thing. I pointed out that besides those 2 organs, you can't donate a part of any other ogans. Bone marrow counts too.

Being dead well, different story.

Don't bone marrow transplants hurt really bad? :uhoh2:

I was told to describe it more as "uncomfortable", haha- the famous line they use to describe pain.

I'd think it surely less than childbirth though....and I am still here, so, yeah....:dozey:

I was talking with my sister today and we started talking about donating organs.

And she said she wouldn't cause she wouldn't want to have a big hole in her when she's buried.

I was like WTF!

Yeah, cause no one wants holes in them when they're rotting in the ground :|

I asked her, doesn't she feel guilty that you could be taking something vital away from people.

She stuck with her argument.

I remember when I was younger I always thought I wouldn't want to imagine my mother on a table with her organs hanging out, or any of my loved ones for that matter. Something like that is something I'd think of too much and not be able to get out of my head. I wouldn't care too much about it happening to myself as I'd be dead haha.

Now I'm older there are more important issues that need to be thought about and I want to donate.
