Thanks, it's been a multi-generational disappointment. Great grandparents moved to Chicago's north side after coming to the states, and our family has been ingrained with false hope since then. Im not a crier, but think I'd lose it if they ever pulled it off.

 

Now if I were a Philly fan, I know I'll be watching ball into late October. Must be nice. ;-)

Maybe Houston will actually beat the Mets when they start play tomorrow. Both teams have a 5-11 record right now and are tied with Seattle for the 2nd worst winning percentage in the league. :|

I just got back from a trip to Toronto where I went to my first baseball game and now I'm hooked. Absolutely loved it. Will have to call myself a Blue Jays fan... got a feeling I'm setting myself up for a lifetime of heartache :rolleyes:

 

Have to say though, I don't understand all the numbers on the screen and all the acronyms and stuff, maybe you guys will be able to help me out?
