Ok this comes because I have some songs more than 2 times for example yellow - parachutes and yellow - yellow (single) and I would like to know If you delete the one from the single or you just leave them like that?

i dont have any hard copy cds so when i get the single on itunes i just buy the bside...but thats not really the same now is it... i would say just delete one of them because its not like ur losing the song, its just weird having it on ur ipod twice, two different play counts, etc....im sure theres a way to make itunes put the same song into two albums...

I keep it... but I wish there was a way to make itunes access a singular file for multiple albums to save space. For example, itunes would access c:/music/itunes/artist/coldplay/Yellow.mp3 for Yellow on Parachutes and Yellow on the single.

I deleted all my leftrightleftrightleft songs because I have the album versions of all the songs on it, but I kept both versions of lovers in japan.

I just leave them. I don't mind listneing to them twice and I'm lazy.

I usually try and not have duplicates... my iPod doesn't really have the room. I have different live versions obviously, but not an exact duplicate (like Yellow on Parachutes and on the single), 'cos it's just a waste of space.

if you're using iTunes can't you just uncheck the song from being uploaded to your iPod or am I completely misunderstanding the question :uhoh:

Depends. I'll keep both the LP/EP and live versions. However, if there are duplicate LP/EP I'll delete those. And in terms of LiJ, I just keep the PM/Osaka Sun Mix only, because I don't like the VLV version that has Reign of Love tagged on the end. :tongue:

i only delete the song if there's no difference between them, buf if so i normally delete the one that is newer in my collection.

I delete the duplicate singles usually because I prefer to have them all together in an album instead of having forever of singles .

it depends on how much i love the song
