Why exactly is this so stupid? I'm not saying it's smart, but equally as stupid as drinking vodka in the first place. People inject heroin in the eyeball, it's a vein like any other vein in the human body, there is an incredibly small chance that it will effect your vision, it's slightly more likely that it will cause short term damage of the tear ducts producing more water.

 

I remember reading an article a while ago about how the Daily Mail made a SHOCK HORROR article about how it's affected one persons vision as she generally now has eye problems, and is warned that sometime in the future this could get much worse. Big news, one person may be permanently affected.

 

As the doctor in the youtube video says, if it soaks in, it does serious damage, he doesn't specify what the likelihood of that is, because that's unknown.

 

Would I do it? No, firstly I don't buy into the idea that it's euphoria for your system, I'd imagine it would be very painful, and a complete backlash against your brain from the central nervous system, but I have known people who have done it. Of course they were too drunk at the time to remember how it went, so I don't really know.

Stupid sure, but the reaction in this thread is over the top, it's not that big of a deal and I think the only reason it's so shocking is because of the way it is presented.
