ancestry.com confirmed Gwyneth is one of the episodes this series. didn't say which epsiode but its not 1 or 2 :)

They just had Lisa Kudrow on the Today show talking about the show, It looks so interesting, they just talked about Venessa Williams. Lisa said how some peeps get turned away from not being interesting enough :P or too much research time needed to make a show about them. They said it takes an average of 10 days shooting to make one segment.

I love the UK version. would like to watch the US ones too but haven't managed to yet

Why on earth are the U.S. ones not being "exported"?:dozey:

I guess they think that people from the UK either don't like or don't know US actors and visa versa. :P!

What a load of codswallop!:P

Who do they think they are?

I've seen a few episodes of the Canadian version. Interesting stuff.

as a genealogist, its not so much about the famous person as the stories they find & the resources they use. the famous person just spices it up sometimes.

Rosie O'Donnell

Friday, February 11th 8/7c

(TV-PG)

Rosie travels from Jersey City to Ireland on an emotional ride to discover her mother's roots.

They did show the US series in the UK, late nights about a year or so ago, I saw the lisa Kudrow one, and Sarah Jessica Parkers hubby (carn't remember his name), but the BBC kept changing the times of the showings and missing weeks without showing any, very annoying.
