quote wikipedia

"Kieran Hebden (born 1980, Putney, London, England, United Kingdom) is a post-rock and electronic musician. Hebden first came to prominence as a member of the band Fridge before establishing himself as a solo artist under the moniker of Four Tet.

Hebden's music typically eschews the traditional pop song format in favour of a more abstract approach—his sound and melodies incorporate elements of hip hop, electronica, techno, jazz, and folk music with live instrumentation."

He is the best electronic musician around. His album from 2010, There Is Love In You is one of my all time favourite album. It is incredible.

He's done a lot of amazing remixes for Thom Yorke, Bloc Party, Andrew Bird, The XX, Foals and heaps more. ugghhhh he's so good.

I am seeing him soon at a festival and I plan on having a very good conversation with him.

Oh and did you know he makes all of his music on a computer? coooool.

I'm surprised that there hasn't been a Four Tet thread here already.

I really like them though, the new album is very good as well as Pause. Those are the only two albums I have by them.

I also love their Atoms for Peace remix too.

mike you are so good at calling single people them

anyway, this weekend I went to an insanely awesome music festival. I was lucky enough to meet and see Four Tet.

He was an extremely nice guy and the show was INCREDIBLE. Best fucking thing I've ever experienced.
