AMERICAN Pie star Seann William Scott has entered treatment to address "health and personal issues," reports People magazine.

 

It is not known what caused the 34 year old to make the decision, or where he is being treated.

 

A statement from his representatives says: "He appreciates the support of his many fans at this time."

 

Scott also appeared in The Dukes of Hazzard, Cop Out and voiced a characted in the animated Ice Age films.

 

He is the third star of the American Pie films to check into rehab, after Tara Reid and Chris Klein.

Let's hope he gets better. There's a new American Pie movie scheduled to be filmed starting in a few weeks.
