where are you my mixtaper?? There are lots of people who didn get their review. I post mine ages ago but you are not here:D I'm wondering the songs and I don't want to Google them

Nonono, it's a lovely country, I just don't like Moods of Norway!

:laugh3: Jokes William, jokes! I didn't mean it.

where is my review?? :rolleyes4:

Ok, so here’s my review. Thanks for waiting.

First off, I really loved the tape. It has a great flow and reviewing it track by track may be a bit unfair,

I think. Either way, it didn’t have one bad track, so kudos

Btw, I wonder if a lot of the artists are European…?

Track 1: Lovely organ. Nice percussion, very jazzy, very laidback. I thought I recognized the voice at first, but now it seems less and less familiar every listen. Pretty hoarse. Really lovely lyrics and really great song. Makes me think of Charlotte Gainsbourg’s song on French Cafe for some reason.

Track 2: I love her voice and the way she uses it. “Light as a feather, heavy as the weather if it was made of stones.” I like the percussion a lot. All in all, a great song.

Track 3: Rough quality. Don’t know what language this is, but would guess Italian or Spanish…Simple song. I love the solo section at around 2:30. Reminds me a little of Krautrock.

Track 4: I definitely know this voice, could it be Amy Winehouse? Nice Soul music, anyway, great piano and guitar notes sprinkled in between the strings.

Track 5: Probably one of the most distinctive tracks with that string bit, which I really like. Sticks in your head. Singer hits some pretty high notes. Brilliant chorus with said string bit and that lyric: “The heart of a horse”. At least that’s what it sounds like.

Track 6: Instrumental track, only a piano. Familiar tune. I really like the way it’s played, especially the bass part (left hand). + Its length is perfect.

Track 7: Sounds great in an elevator, eh? :P

Track 8: Pretty rough quality again. The opening lyric really gets me. Plenty of reverb.

Track 9: Another great track, great intro with the backing piano and the sort of haunting guitar, and then moving on to a more layered style with an electronic beat and strings. Actually reminds me a lot of Gayngs, with the layers and all.

Track 10: More southern European music, no? A really beautiful piece, violin, accordion and all. Very calming.

Track 11: I think I’ll know who this is once I see the tracklist. Easy going acoustic song.

Track 12: My least favorite track off the mix. Reminds a little too much of the 80’s. Still a good song

though.

Track 13: Either this is Morrisey singing (ie. The Smiths) or it’s someone who sounds almost exactly like him, I’m thinking maybe Grizzly Bear? Nicely composed with the piano and the acoustic guitar, and I love the bass in the bridge. Nice closer.

Out of all those my favorite tracks would have to be 1,2, 5, Neon Bible and 12, and if I were to rate it it would be 8.5/10. Definitely leaving this on my mp3 player :)

Now a stab at who my partner is. At first I was certain it was Mike but now I'm pretty uncertain...

loudefix or Boreas?

My review was supposed to be a lot longer but I just ran out of time and words :\

Still no review D:

aww

well as I said before in this thread, I wanted to make an adult contemporary mixtape. My original partner was Carrow. As I stalk him I was thoroughly intimidated since he has the most obscure taste ever. But then I thought that this might work... I just put in as many mainstream songs as possible :awesome:, but then... it all changed... I'm glad you like it (and I'm surprised you don't know any of them, saving for Track 4 and 7)

Btw, I wonder if a lot of the artists are European…?

There are 5 European artists, 6 North Americans, and 2 Asians

Track 1: Lovely organ. Nice percussion, very jazzy, very laidback. I thought I recognized the voice at first, but now it seems less and less familiar every listen. Pretty hoarse. Really lovely lyrics and really great song. Makes me think of Charlotte Gainsbourg’s song on French Cafe for some reason.

Oren Lavie - Her Morning Elegance. Yes, it's jazzy. I said it earlier, I wanted to make an adult contemporary mixtape. I find this tune is a must. You've got to see the video. Strawberry Swing ain't got nuthin’ on it!!

Track 2: I love her voice and the way she uses it. “Light as a feather, heavy as the weather if it was made of stones.” I like the percussion a lot. All in all, a great song.

Norah Jones - Light As A Feather. Well, I've got to put her in. She's the queen of adult contemporary. Although her 4th album is very much different from the previous 3. More folk, more rock and roll, more sonic and atmospheric. She wrote this particular song with Ryan Adams (without the letter "B"), and they're BFF now :awesome: I could go on writing about her so... off to the next track.

Track 3: Rough quality. Don’t know what language this is, but would guess Italian or Spanish…Simple song. I love the solo section at around 2:30. Reminds me a little of Krautrock.

Potret - Diam. Discover Indonesian music. Actually Indonesian music is no good at all. This one is from late 90's - early 00's. It's a band consist of a vocalist (which is also the principal songwriter), a bassist (the vocalist's husband) and a drummer (I don't really care much about him). They usually do (did) pop songs, but this one is rather bluesy/rock n roll-ish. This song is about a girl who is constantly being abused by someone but keeps silent (diam = silent, quiet, still). But when the guy force her to do something (which she did not specify) she refuses to stay mum. It's an angry song, really.

Track 4: I definitely know this voice, could it be Amy Winehouse? Nice Soul music, anyway, great piano and guitar notes sprinkled in between the strings.

Amy Winehouse - Love Is A Losing Game. Back To Black is an excellent album. Get it NAOOOOUU!! I don't love her voice that much, but her songwriting strikes me. And Mark Ronson did one helluva job producing this.

Track 5: Probably one of the most distinctive tracks with that string bit, which I really like. Sticks in your head. Singer hits some pretty high notes. Brilliant chorus with said string bit and that lyric: “The heart of a horse”. At least that’s what it sounds like.

Alanis Morissette - Heart Of The House. It's from Supposed Former Infatuation Junkie. An album that estranged her fans, baffled critics, I love. It's songwriting at its best. She was just rapping with melody and harmony throughout the album. The lyric is very cryptic, I still don't know what she really means. Basically it's about her relationship with her mother. But I don't know what she actually felt :vanish:

Track 6: Instrumental track, only a piano. Familiar tune. I really like the way it’s played, especially the bass part (left hand). + Its length is perfect.

Enya - Oriel Window. The only modern piano instrumental that I like better than Coldplay's Postcards. Enya is basically a band of 3. Enya herself as the composer and performer, Roma Ryan as lyricist, and Nicky Ryan the producer. The workflow usually starts with Enya composing with her piano, and then she discuss it with the other two, whether or not the other two can "see" and "feel" Enya's vision about that song. And then they will see if Roma can come up with lyric or just leave it as an instrumental. And so on.

(is this a history class or something lol)

Track 7: Sounds great in an elevator, eh? :P

Arcade Fire - Neon Bible. Although this one is somewhat "regular" for Coldplaying, I find it fitting for this mixtape. It has this understated quality, yet very much loaded and rich (just like how Arcade Fire likes to do things)

Track 8: Pretty rough quality again. The opening lyric really gets me. Plenty of reverb.

Scarlett Johansson - Green Grass. Yes, THAT Scarlett Johansson. She's sooooooooooo underrated. She doesn't deserve it. Unlike most actors who want to venture in music industry, she didn't choose crappy pop as her genre. She chose "this" instead, whatever "this" is. She definitely has an artistic musical mind. This album is mostly filled with Tom Waits cover, with only 1 original song. David Bowie also contributed on 2 songs in this album as a backing vocalist. Yes, THAT David Bowie.

Track 9: Another great track, great intro with the backing piano and the sort of haunting guitar, and then moving on to a more layered style with an electronic beat and strings. Actually reminds me a lot of Gayngs, with the layers and all.

Sade - Immigrant. Sade is so much more than No Ordinary Love. This is from Lover's Rock. You should try listen to this album. It is mostly filled with R&B songs, but Sade Adu's voice is just so irresistible. My favourite from this album is Immigrant and Slave Song. Her father is the inspiration for this song. If you can find the YouTube video of them performing this live, you can get her brief explanation about it.

Track 10: More southern European music, no? A really beautiful piece, violin, accordion and all. Very calming.

Chrisye - Kala Sang Surya Tenggelam. Discover Indonesian music. Amidst the downright shitty industry, we have this gem. He was 50 or something when he recorded this song. He's legendary. Unfortunately he passed away a few years back, we lost a truly amazing artist :disappointed: The title, "Kala Sang Surya Tenggelam" means "When The Sun Sets". The lyric itself is somewhat cryptic but not entirely. It's about a couple being apart or something. They use poetic form of Indonesian... which I appreciate very much.

Track 11: I think I’ll know who this is once I see the tracklist. Easy going acoustic song.

Dido - This Land Is Mine. This is one of my favourite songs from her. Her voice is just something else. She also has this metaphoric style for her lyrics. And somehow I feel she has some signature chord progression. She's holistically distinctive.

Track 12: My least favorite track off the mix. Reminds a little too much of the 80’s. Still a good song though.

Bruce Springsteen - Streets Of Philadelphia. I find this song 'out of place' as well. I was going to put The Tallest Man On Earth - Honey Won't You Let Me In, but I feel it would be even more out of place. What strikes me most about the song is the similarity to Coldplay's Lost!, especially towards the end. I heard Lost! first, and then I found this song while watching Philadelphia (the movie with Tom Hanks and Denzel Washington). And then I search for it. And I got it. And then I listened to it very carefully. the lyric is awesome, the drum machine is not. It is still out of place for this mixtape.

Shearwater - The Hunter's Star. This is the perfect example of benefits of mixtape exchange. I got to know them from ME4, burningmonk was my mixtape maker. He used the song "On The Death Of The Waters" as the opening for the mixtape. That song is the first song of the album Rook. Now I'm a fan. This song is the last track from the same album. I hope you're a fan now. They're awesome. I've been praying for their Asia tour, but it never happened. :(

Out of all those my favorite tracks would have to be 1,2, 5, Neon Bible and 12, and if I were to rate it it would be 8.5/10. Definitely leaving this on my mp3 player :)

12? really?

hi here is my review. My English is not very good for this but I'll try to write :D :D

TRACK-1 : A weird song :D It sounds like they're talking each other on walky talky..It's not like a song. obviously it's a very different genre for me.

TRACK-2 : At first I thought this is continue of first track. But then when i listened middle part of song it sounds very similar for me. Have this song ever used in a movie or advert? I love the chorus part.I got this pictures bla bla bla sounds very familiar. It must be used in a moviee!! :D

TRACK-3 : The beginning is very slow it relaxes your brain after Track 2 which is good :) Then you can hear the motion and vocal. what a lovely voice!!! Is this boy or girl??? Definetely a boy. :)

TRACK-4 : yeaaa very energic beginning :) :) Vocal remindes me Fall Out Boy. It's a genre which i love.. I'm getting very curious who they're.

TRACK-5 : entry is piano then vocal. lovely voice and piano melodies like Colplay. I love vocal and it seems familiar again i know them but i can not recognize who they're (uuhh this is annoying!) I REALLY LOVED THİS SONG. Especially his voice in 2.20 with piano..This songs going good with an old photos video.

TRACK-6 : I know this song but I can not recognize it again!! ( I think I have some brain problems :D ) Is this a Eurovision song?? Very energic song and remindes me Mika-Grace Kelly. I wanna dance haha :D

TRACK-7 : haha there is no lyrics just instruments. Guitars sound like heatbeating. You can use this song in a catch scene in a movie :D

TRACK-8 : This is a different genre for me again. I love vocal's voice but i don't love electro songs :/

TRACK-9 : I can hear "In the nightl" repeatedly... but lovely vocal again :)

TRACK 10 : Ohh the beginning melted my heat :D Lovely voice and lyrics again :D I wonder who they're..

TRACK-11 : I though this is an old band. Remindes me Queen but of course they're not. Vocal's voice sounds like he is suffering :/

TRACK-12 : hoh he says too fast.hip hop style. He is telling something about student life. I wonder if what the lyrics are.

TRACK-13 : very energic!! You can dance with this song at a disco lol :D

TRACK-14 : this sounds like 90s punk rock bands which I loved but then I hear alternative guitar sounds and bring me again 2000s. After 3.min is very good.

TRACK-15 : I loved the beginning lyrics 'DO YOU DREAM?' very good lyrics.. and Vocal's voice is very different. This song can be effect lots of people very deeply.

TRACK-16 : Oh this remindes me Kings of Leon ! Lovely guitar solos and drum sounds. This must be Kings of Leon but you can understand that they re not kings of leon from Vocal's voice.

TRACK-17 : Different genre again..but good instrumentals. Maybe this song will go well with more rock sound in my opinion

TRACK-18 : Is this 30 Seconds to Mars?? This can be the 'kill' song but I didn't remember exactly. Intruments and vocal's voice are really complete each other but i didn't like electro vocals.

in conclusion; thanks for songs! My mixtaper put different genres of music his/her mixtape and I think this is the aim of this event to taste another types of another people :D I really loved 4,5,6,10 and i'm waiting for names of the songs now :D I'm gonna say again the song 5 really melted my heart and 10 is in my top songs now :)

Right, house not horse. Someone more I'll check out.

12? really?

13, sorry.

you got it right :D, thanks for the review

(I was actually planning to kill you, but nevermind, I got the review now...)

:anxious:

Yes, do!

So I actually knew quite a few of the artists on the tape by name at least.

Ok so this is ridiculous:shocked2:

As you can see i'm your mixtape maker!!!!

i don't know about you but i'm starting to see a pattern here!

i don't know if you might have figured since i put some artists that you already know i like in it + a norwegian song!

oh and i left my initials on the artwork:rolleyes:

I'm so late with this review, but here it is anyway:

your review is not late at all, i just got back from Italy, so really, I'm late:\

First off, the mixtape is awesome, really, really awesome. I love your musical taste:wacky:

I'm so glad you liked it:lol::D

i know that you'r taste of music in general is a bit more cheerful then mine but we like some of the same music!!

Anywho, REVIEW!

Track 1: Kind of strange, a lot of noises and voices. But it's pretty cool. Only problem I have with it is that it doesn't really have an ending.

The track is called Your Bedtime Story Is Scaring Everyone and it's the final track on In Flames's album Come Clarity! In Flames is one of my favorite bands and right now they'r the most played one in my iTunes library! In Flames's usual stuff is most likely too harsh for you'r taste but i thought this song was a good opening for the mixtape!

i kind of agree on the part with the ending, i was originally purpose to edit it but didn't have the time:(

Track 2: French? Sounds slightly like Joanna Newsom to be honest.(I know it's not her, just sounds alike)

yes, very french indeed :P

Yeah! they have kind of the same sound:) but i think CocoRosie might be a bit more spaced out sometimes! so obvious^^^the artist is CocoRosie and the song is called The Sea Is Calm ;)

Track 3: This is a great cover, much better than the original imo :wacky:

MHMMM!!!!:D

i like this better then the original song too!!! so as you already know the song is called Stop and the cover is by Ane Brun

Track 4: Such a lovely voice, and a beautiful song as well. Brilliant choice :)

thank you<3 i love this song too, but it drags a bit out at the end ( i wanted to edit that too:( ) the song is Matching Weight by Trespassers William

Track 5: Hmmm piano song aye, sounds good, very mellow.

As you already know i love mellow! this is Thanksgiving by George Winston

Track 6: I've heard this song before! But I can't remember where :( It's pretty cool though. Actually this song is pretty much awesome.

yeah you'v probably heard it before! it's by Crosby, Stills & Nash and the song is called Cathedral:)

Track 7: Oh my, this song is perfect

Sheets by Damien Jurado<3

Track 8: This is a bit different and I think I know I've heard this before, that makes no sense, but whateverrrr. It's a lovely song, the chorus is lovely, all the little noises are cute and the singers(back-up singers too) are really talented :)

Ghost by Blue Foundation! it's not impossible that you'v heard it before, they'r pretty well known :P

Track 9: This is catchy, though the lyrics are a bit dark and depressing, is he American?

Me in a nutshell.... i love dark and depressing<3 i really like this song, i used listen to it before i went to sleep for a long time!!! yes THEY'R American! the band is called Slipknot and the song is called Snuff, again they just might be too heavy for you but i really wanted this song on the mixtape! hope all the other artists cane make up for those two:embarrassed:

Track 10: I've heard this before :O But god only knows where. It's certainly something special, but it's definitely not bad, the intro is a bit eh. But she's speaking Norwegian(!) :awesome: Love it

It's by a norwegian band ( ehm.. at least they used to be, they split up last year:( ) called Gåte they mix rock and norwegian folk music together and it's really cool! I saw them live in Oslo the last time they ever preformed last somer and it was amazing, they had so much energy and power on stage they'r not even close to that good on they'r CD's:(

anyway the song is called Bendik og Årolilja !

I feel like everything I write is turning out a bit confusing.

nooooo! you'r doing good honey:kiss:

Track 11: Mumford & Sons – Winter Winds, saw it streaming from Coachella, Wonderful choice.

<3

Track 12: This is a good song, but I think you should have placed it differently, because Winter Winds has so much energy, and well this song doesn't :undecided: Still a good song though.

yeah i know! i hade some song's inbetween ( among others O Master by Susanne Sundfør, but it would have been too obvious that i was your mixtapemaker and you already know her) but the mixtape just got too long so i had to rip my heart out and delete them:cry:

this is What Have We Got To Lose by Aron Wright!

Track 13: Bon Iver – The Wolves (Act I & II) I probably would have misse it, but I listened to a bunch of Bon Iver songs while I was making my own mixtape :P

Love this song<3<3<3<3

Track 14: My sister always plays this piece on the piano, it's just stunningly beautiful. Great choice.

It's from the movie Amélie:wacky: i love the movie and this melody IS stunningly beautiful !

its called Comptine D'un Autre Été: L'après Midi and the composer who made this song and the rest of the soundtrack (which is great btw. ) is Yann Tiersen

Track 15: Now we're taking a whole different route, this is interesting, the bongo drums and all. This is from a movie isn't it? I know I've heard it in a movie somewhere, an animated one I believe. It's really cool.

it's from disney's The Lion King<3 the song is Not One Of Us

ahhh..... all the memories, i love that movie<3 it's LEGEN..... wait for it.......DARY:P

EDIT: actually i think it might be from Lion King 2:anxious:

Track 16: Strings  The song is lovely, I'll probably listen to it next time I'm feeling down :) Normally I don't like songs being long, but this one could go on forever and I wouldn't mind.

yeah it's great:nice: the song is Wild Child by Enya! i actually got this song from my parents they used play it a lot in the house when i was younger, so when i found it again about a month ago i was so happy:lol:

Track 17: I don't know what to say to be honest, it's a nice song, but it just doesn't connect with me beyond that :blank:

well it doesn't matter! you just couldn't like everything on here, and thats okay...:)

Track 18: Synth :snobby: Not something I generally listen to, but dammit I like that chorus.

A norwegian indie/rock band. they'r not so well known but they'r pretty good!!!!

they'r called I See Horses and this song is called Amerika ;)

Track 19: I didn't like the opening, but I love the rest of it. Heard it before though, my sister likes this song I think. The guitar is cool and the singer, though not the greatest of singers, fits the song perfectly.

Take Me Out by Franz Ferdinand! i like them a lot and in my opinion this i they'r best song:smug: i'm just saying.........

Track 20: Different, very different. Also really freaking great, until that singer started singing, sorry but that killed the entire song. Can't stand that voice.

Strange Times by The Black Keys............. just not you'r cup of tea:shrug:

Track 21: Okay song, but not the right one to end the mixtape imo.

i just couldn't find the right track to end the tape and like i said i didn't really have that much time so...... well........ i agree though!

the song is Above And Below by The Bravery and i really like them a lot<3

In conclusion, GREAT JOB! I love the mixtape :wacky: Except for a couple of little things, I loved every single song, the 'tape is perfect. 10/10

yeeeeeeey! i love you for loving my mixtape:dazzled:

I can't wait to find out the artists and songs :)

enjoy;)

don't worry mixtape maker i haven't forgotten about you!!!!

i will submit my review soon, promise:embarrassed:

:D

Oren Lavie - Her Morning Elegance. Yes, it's jazzy. I said it earlier, I wanted to make an adult contemporary mixtape. I find this tune is a must. You've got to see the video. Strawberry Swing ain't got nuthin; on it!!

yeah that music video is just awesome :D:lol::):kiss:

love it<3.... and the song is good too!!!!

Again, I'm so sorry to my mixtape partner. I really meant to make the review tonight, but I realized that I have to pack for my band trip to D.C. and my day just went upside down. :freak:

Tomorrow, I promise.

Hi there, I made your mix :)

Don't worry about your belatedness, I'm belated with everything I do on here. So is the life of a college student. Anyway, I'm glad you somewhat liked my mix. It was really hard for me to choose things because, per your lastfm, we have pretty similar tastes in bands (Ra Ra Riot and Freelance Whales in particular! Love them and was going to put them on before).

Hey partner, this is my belated review. :shame:

1. Ambient music, Sigur Ros-ish. Nice choice for an intro.

Thanks :) I always like intro-ing with instrumentals, they're very reliable. This one in particular is a tune by the Cinematic Orchestra. They have a lot of really good relaxing music. If you liked this I would suggest listening to their album Ma Fleur :)

2. Folk rock + 60s retro music, I like this one. I'm studying History right now, what a great mood this song has given to me. :|

I know what you mean with the studying, with finals coming up every day is a :| face. This one is by Little Joy, I was about 90% sure you would know them as one of their trio is Fab Moretti of The Strokes. There self-titled album has been my go-to summer album for a couple years now, its very...breezy.

3. I'm not a big fan of female vocalist, ...to be honest I don't like female vocalists... But this one is good. :surprised:

That would be Charlene Kaye backed up by Darren Criss. I'm not a big female vocalist person myself, but I love duets. I think its the jazzy quality to her voice that is unique enough to be interesting and good.

4. The vocal sounds very 80s and familiar, but the music sounds modern. I like it.

This one is from the band with the lovely name of Starfucker. It was used in an American Target commercial here. All of their music has the very modern stoned feel to it if you were interested in this.

5. A capella. The vocal is amazing, but I don't really like the song in general.

Ah, I suppose Rolling in the Deep is an acquired taste sorta song. I love this version because John Legend's voice makes every sound that much more awesome than it really is.

6. ...Delphic? I listen to Delphic, but shame on me I can't recognize this song! It's good.

Yes, this is Delphic, specifically "Doubt". And I agree they are a good band.

7. This is not English. :| Spanish? :| I like this, really. Sounds so majestic and lively.

Portuguese, but close! It's Josh Groban, he's a very majestic singing sorta guy and I adore his vocal tone. I'm glad you liked it :D

8. :dazzled: Who is this? omg I like this one a lot, sounds like a street rock song or something. Though the voice isn't too impressive, but it sounds just nice.

Matt and Kim! It's really catchy, right? Even though the lyrics are nonsensical and voice is really off it's somehow pleasant.

9. This one sounds like a cross between U2, White Lies and Mutemath. It's okay.

 Now that you say that I hear it...weird. It's We Are Scientists.

10. Sounds like Tokyo Police Club with a female backup solo to me. The lyrics are so mischievious, and I think the song is very light and enjoyable.

If Tokyo Police Club sounds like this maybe I should check them out. They are a little two-piece called Slow Club out of England. Light was the key here, so i'm glad it worked.

11. Good rocky intro, not bad. Again, reminds me of White Lies.

This band, Night Fevers, is actually a local band for me right out of Long Island, NY. They just recently let out their first EP and are gaining a lot of buzz in the local NYC circuit. They are a bit generic perhaps, but their live concerts are pretty awesome :D

12. Is this Bon Iver's Woods? It's been a long time since I listened to Blood Bank EP, so I might be wrong. Nice track.

This is Woods remixed and put together with a little bit of Kanye. As much as I love Bon Iver's original tune I felt this one is brought to the next level and shows the rest of the music industry how to do auto-tune correctly. Glad you liked it.

13. :uhoh: This sounds so country, with 80s feeling and stuff. Not too bad methinks. Light and enjoyable.

That old-school feeling you're getting is actually 70's and thats because thats when this one is from. The Allman Brothers Band is a southern (read:country) rock band that I grew up surrounded by that I try to expose to anyone I get the chance to. And it fit with the 'light' sort of theme.

14. Male-female duet. Sounds like a love song. Not too good, but not so bad either. But I personally don't think it's the best way to end a mixtape.

But but but! Happy days are here again! Oh well, can't get them all. It's a mix of two legends songs (Barbara Streisand and Judy Garland) redone in the Glee style. Not for everyone but I had to indulge myself somewhere, yeah? Laugh3

Overall, it's a good mix. Thanks for putting a lot of effort for this, I appreciate it. 7.5/10

You put Josh Groban on your tape. :stunned: I LOVE YOU.

I’m so sorry this is just way too late!!!!!

So the mixtape was really good, and i can definitely sense a theme here!

”that teenage feeling” the whole tape made me think of a high school proom from the late 80’s maybe 90’s! The albume artwork freaks me a bit out though but thats probably just because i used to be a braces face!

some of this is stuff that i’d usualy not listen to, my taste in music isn’t very cheerful, but these are relly good old song and you can feel the quality of some of them if you know what i mean!

Im glad….. i need more of this kind music!

Oh and one more thing the tracks weren’t listed 1,2 ,3 etc. They where all named 0 so i’m not sure that it’s all in the right order

Ok so here it goes….

Track 1(atleast i think it is :P)

I LOVE NIRVANA!!!! But I haven’t listened to them for a very long time… a good opening track, thank you

Track 2

Nope i don’t mind The Rolling Stones either, dont listen to them much but i recognise his voice☺ i believe this song is called Under My Thumb which is not hard to asume from the chorus either

Track 3

Now i don't know this one!! I really like the opening with the piano! It’s a cute tune and it sounds kind of old but for all i know it might just be made that way! I have the feeling this track is called Teenager

Track 4

I really love this track<3<3<3 its amazing! I like the lyrics too! I dont know it but my guess is that its maybe something along the lines of The Gentle Waves or something!

Track 5

I’v heard this song in the movie my best friends girl, but i havent really payed any atention to it before i just recognised the chorus! Its really catchy and I’d love to know who it's by:)

Track 6

Metric? I dont really know them that well, but i’d love to look more into them!!!! Thanks<3

Track 7

Raelly cool opening:D oOoOOOOOOooo its getting better! I woke up in love this morning…… just got a sudden urge to stand up and do a silly dance or something!!

Me likey!

Track 8

It’s a good song! Not my favorite on the tape but not bad at all, don’t know what else to say! Just not really my thing

Track 9

Oh i know this guitar!!!!i guess it’s well known and i’v picked it up somewhere☺ i like it…i wanna hold you tight, get teenage kicks right trough the night!

Track 10

a long time ago we used to be friends but i havent thought of you lately at all,………., come on now sugar bring it on bring it on yeah just remember me when…..we used to be friend a long time ago, we used to be friends!

Haha! The Veronica Mars intro<3 i only know it from the tv-show and its fun to actually be able to hear the whole song! Its really catchy and i used to have this song (or at least the chorus) stuck in my head all the time<3

Track 11

I like this! It’s got a pretty cool and slightly crazy sound! Not something that i listen alot to though but definitely good!

Track 12

It’s got alot of the same sound as track 11! Is it the same band? No maybe not! anyway again i like it:)

Track 13

Love <3 i like this alot ,their sound gets to me! a good track to end the mixtape:)

Well done!!!!!!!!!

Thank you for making this tape for me<3 and again i’m so sorry for beeing so terribly lat:(
