I'm super nervous. :uhoh:

With my luck I'll get Briggins, and he knows like everything. :|

There's nothing to be nervous about. Even if you do get Briggins, he's a nice guy and is generally pretty open about music. I wouldn't worry about it. :nice:

:cheesy:

If I get Briggins or Eddie, I'll probably have mental torment thinking of what should I put in the tape. :|

Actually, I view it as being relatively easy to figure out what NOT to put on theirs.

Briggins hasn't even signed up for this

Mumford and Sons. :shifty:

Precisely. That and Muse.

Briggins hasn't even signed up for this

Seriously? :surprised: I wouldn't have thought that. I hope he does.

And we might end up putting songs that they have already heard of. :\

That's not a big deal imo, as long as you haven't heard the whole tape...

Anyway I'm too indie for that shit, so I don't need to worry about it :charming: but yeah anyway

trying to decide if I should limit myself to one classical track as I normally do or not  if I let myself do more than one the whole tape will end up being classical though soooo

Yeah, but I've come to realize that this tends to happen, anyway. I've never made a mixtape where none of the songs were recognizable to my mixtape partner. I feel like if you help your mixtape recipient discover something he/she didn't know beforehand, it's a success.

I would absolutely LOVE for you to make me a classical tape.

I hope I get yours then, Sara. I love classical. :wacky:

I'm just going to do my best with the mixtape. :P

That's all you can really ask yourself to do. :nice:

Well then! Since I have recieved this enormous outpouring of support from two people damned if I won't put in as much classical as I please! :phu:

I feel so empowered

Am I allowed to compile my mix as a concept album? :|

But it'll be tricky for my partner to review idk :|

I always try to make my mixes cohesive in some way, ie flowy from one mood to the next, so that's probably a good ides.

You're allowed to do whatever you want with it, Rudy. No need to ask.

Rudy, it's your mix. You can do what you want with it.

I'll keep on asking. :snobby:

I'm not going to start legit putting mine together until I know who I got >.>

I'm only putting a big vat of ideas into an ideas playlist... I have about 50 songs so far though :blank:

I will make mine this weekend I think. Not sure whether to put new stuff on it, for risk of them having heard it, or older stuff, for risk that they are already very familiar with it. My last is here. http://www.last.fm/user/Bryceonrecord

you're so cute

if that's you :uhoh:

The second part of your comment is exactly why I didn't say the first part of your comment.

I just realized that if everything on your mixtape is something you absolutely adore you don't really care if your person likes it, I need to up the percentage of these songs.

I'm slow, okay? :|
