Have you ever stopped listening to something because of someone else?

Featured Replies

nope, i don't think so - the music i love belongs to my personality and other people don't make me change it, whatever they do ;)

Does it count if I say my housemates have forced me to hate Lady Gaga?

I mean, when she first came out I may have listened to her. But then my housemates played her over and over and over and over that it drove me batshit insane.

And so now I physically want to pull my ears off and eat them whenever I hear her.

The timing of the resurrection of this thread is uncanny. Just yesterday, I listened to the artist in question for the first time in 6 months, and it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Granted, I only ended up listening to one song, but hey, maybe I'm getting over it.

Yes, my ex-friend actually introduced Coldplay to me. But "In My Place" is the song i can't listen to without thinking about him. That's the song he shared to me after I told him I didn't want a romantic relationship with him. And the song pretty much showed how he felt back then.. probably still does... he ruined a good song for me lol -.-

Yeah actually, he got me into wavves

EDIT: To stop liking them? :surprised: Well yeah, it feels like when you get sick of a band.. it's like I want to like them but it's too hard and I just start hating the songs and.. beans.
