Fog is so amazing it kills me that most people only know that useless piano version.

Ha ha useless piano version, what?

The original is great, but it's a personal preference for me; the original reminds me of another song, and if I'm listening to a Radiohead song I don't want to be reminded of a completely different song. That's why I like the Fog (Again) version better.

And no, that's not my list.

I wouldn't call it useless but I don't like it. I don't like the song at all :/

I really like both versions a lot, but I like the piano version a bit more.

But if I told you what the studio version reminds me of, then it might ruin it for you.

I'm scared you all will make fun of me for even thinking it. Do me a favor and listen to the studio version again first.

Okay, here goes. Obviously not the entire song, but there's certain parts of each song that are kind of similar. Enough for it to come to mind when I'm listening to the studio version of Fog; that's why I prefer the piano 'Again' version better.

I will patiently await the stones that are about to be hurled at my head.

I guess I could see the similarities.

I don't see why you'd await stones to be thrown at your head... it's a great song!

Meh, at least it's not Muse.

Still, I dislike* F+TM.

really?

I know you'll probably hate me for this, but I always thought that F+TM vocals sounded similar to Bat for Lashes

I agree it's a good song, but I just don't want to think about it when I'm listening to another song, I want the song (Fog) to stand alone.

I figure some people might be annoyed because now they're going to think about it now that I said something. Fog appears on shuffle, "oh this is that song that someone said reminds them of that other sung ffffuuuuuuuuuuuu..."

Yeah.

for me I can see the similarity, but it's not big enough to remind me of the other song

That's possibly one of the most innacurate comparisons.

In terms of the songs they have totally different styles of music. But when it comes to vocals, to my at least I find their voice sound somewhat similar. It's not as if it's identical, but I think there's at least a similarity even if it's only a slight one.

Actually I knew you meant the vocals, and no, they're not alike.

This, is more accurate.

Whaaaaat? :inquisitive:

I'm sorry, but as an avid listener of both, I can't see how in the world you could come to that comparison. They're both so vastly different. B4L's vocals are much more ethereal, while Flo's are about sheer power. Flo's are more apt to sound slightly pitchy, too.
