May 9, 201115 yr Author I get a glass of water or something to drink and take a lot of small quick sips and it goes away Thanks, this seems to have worked for now ... but they usually come back.
May 9, 201115 yr There was a hiccup man too [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uAXOu-RSKmg]YouTube - Hiccup Man[/ame] But then he found a cure in Japan http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/programmes/breakfast/8456928.stm
May 9, 201115 yr Take a deep breath, then swallow. And WITHOUT exhaling, suck in more air and swallows again. Keep inhaling and swallowing until your lungs cannot possibly hold any more air, and then they are usually gone!
May 9, 201115 yr I hold my breath if they are just small ones and I drink water upside down if they are really bad. I've actually had hiccups everyday for the past five or six weeks...that sounds like an exaggeration but I'm being serious D: they keep coming back.
May 9, 201115 yr A few years ago I had the hiccups for a few hours and someone told me to trace circles on my hand with my finger. If you concentrate really closely on drawing the circle it's supposed to cure hiccups. It worked instantly, but it has never worked since. :P
May 9, 201115 yr Author Take a deep breath, then swallow. And WITHOUT exhaling, suck in more air and swallows again. Keep inhaling and swallowing until your lungs cannot possibly hold any more air, and then they are usually gone! That sounds a bit painful, but I'll try that next time. :uhoh: I hold my breath if they are just small ones and I drink water upside down if they are really bad. May 9, 201115 yr Author The best thing you can do is sexually gratify a man. It's the only way. Too bad, the only men available atm are married.
May 9, 201115 yr What I do when I get hiccups is that I take slow, deep breaths in time and breathe out at the same time repeatedly until I feel they're gone. What happens when you get hiccups is that your diaphragm, for whatever reason, is spasming. Breathing in this manner helps your diaphragm regulate itself again.
May 9, 201115 yr Hold your breath for some seconds. If that doesn't work then drink something but be sure to lean against a wall wall so you're perfectly straight.
May 9, 201115 yr Too bad, the only men available atm are married. They don't sound very available to me. You should go hunting!
May 9, 201115 yr Author They don't sound very available to me. You should go hunting! That shouldn't be a problem, because I only have to go out on the street and men are hunting ME. :cheesy:
May 9, 201115 yr That shouldn't be a problem, because I only have to go out on the street and men are hunting ME. :cheesy: Wahoo! If that's what you want haha. Hiccups stopped?
May 9, 201115 yr Author Wahoo! If that's what you want haha. Hiccups stopped? Not really ... especially not if they're like 2 heads smaller than me. xD For now, yes, they kept on returning though.
