I don't really want a Copyright strike on my account, I am only covering the songs, but they havent been released yet - my versions sound more like an actual real song and not live, so is this OK ??

Well in the latest Messenger there was a link to a cover of ETIAW so I can't see it being a problem

Youtube is really strict when it comes to copyrights,I got a strike for uploading a cover of a song a while ago,once you get a strike,it doesn't go away.

Wouldn't want to get you in trouble!

 

But I have just checked the Messenger and it was a You Tube link they gave:

 

 

Maybe that one's okay because ETIAW has already been released???

You can file for Fair Use. Once youtube sees that it's copyrighted, they'll take you to tage page about the infromation. Look for something that says file for Fair Use.
