  • Lol I haven't been here in 5 years but I decided to pop my head back in for some nostalgia. Seems like this was my last post so here's an update... I finally saw Radiohead live in Manchester in 2017 a

I don't really care for the new songs. Of course, I hated HTTT when I first heard it too... I just hope they can squeeze out one more really good album.

Duhh of course they will :D

Nice song btw thinker! Never seen it! :nice:

I can't believe how depressing this band is. To me. I mean, basicly it's Thom Yorke.

I should stop watching/reading interviews with him because in the end it will always make me feel bad in some way (except the really old ones or so ones where he's just babbling).

Depressed is the wrong word, I guess. I mean I often feel that everything is so pointless and I get this feeling that I hate having, well, the same one I used to have all the time when I was depressed, this helpless feeling and everything seems so disgusting and wrong, especially what I do.

I guess, that really shouldn't affect me so much, should it?

Oh and I'm really not talking about the music here!

Hmm..I dont know? every person is different

DAS hs been updted. DJ Sasha has included eraser remix in his set and Thom was so thrilled he had to post the link to prove it. :)

One thing I've noticed about Thom in interviews and such, is that he has this amazing ability to project whatever he's feeling onto everyone around him.

When he's doing an interview with someone he likes; when he's at a good point mentally, I actually go away feeling really... I dunno... uplifted. The interviews he was doing for the Eraser were fantastic for that- he was so excited in so many of them, and he seemed really proud of what he had done, and happy about people's response to it.

When he's in not such a great mood, and he's worried about everything that's wrong with the world, and this and that and the other thing... yeah, those can be downers. Worse because alot of the time it's stuff I worry about anyway, even if I have some very different views sometimes.

I guess the way I look at those moments, is that yes, the world is messed up, and there are things happening to make it worse, but there is also beauty and mystery and wonder, even in the brokenness, just waiting to be noticed. Which is sort of a quality I've always gotten out of the music too... some of it was written from the pov of some real, deep depression, and can remind me of when I went through some real depression of my own, but with the way that they work even someting that ugly becomes something so beautiful.

I think I started rambling in there a bit... but I hope it makes sense.

That's great!

Does anyone have a copy of that remix? I could never figure out how to save any of them when they were up on the website. :(

neither could i.

this isnt an official remix from what i have gathered.

isn't it nice to see so many ppl bangin on Thom?

i like the remix :) i want a copy too

as for feeling worse after seeing interviews of his.....well i don't know, i feel that when he expresses his views like he does...it doesnt make you depressed as such it just makes you think a bit more, about how the world is,and opens your eyes a bit that everything isnt wonderful....yes ok thom isnt the only person talking about these issues but seeing as i look up to radiohead so much in terms of music, it has come to light more for me now then before.

It's not that I never think of these things anyway, it's just like you try to manage it without trying to think of all these things too much but you do anyway ect ect and then someone comes and punches you in your stomach and you lie on the ground realizing you're just hiding from your own thoughts all the time.

...Or something like that.

i like the remix :) i want a copy too
