  • Lol I haven't been here in 5 years but I decided to pop my head back in for some nostalgia. Seems like this was my last post so here's an update... I finally saw Radiohead live in Manchester in 2017 a

Remember people, you're not supposed to share music in this section of the forum!

I've really enjoyed the artwork on DAS as of late. THe last few days have had awesome drawings.

Yesterday I got my Airbag/How Am I Driving ?, and it's really good, isn't it ?

Meeting In The Aisle, A Reminder and Polyethylene are great, and Melatonin makes me think of MPS, you know, the keyboard, very slow, thom's lullaby voice...

yeah, i have 3 studio versions(demos): Follow Me Around, Good Mornin Mr.Magpie and Big Ideas (Nude)

they dont sound like fakes......

those are not real Radiohead demos, they were mixed by the same person who did the 'studio' mix of Big Boots. his name is Pawel Osmolski :)

dont want to be genius, but im colorblind too

which colour can't you see?

someone from our school couldn't distinct between violet and blue, i think. poor he :(

Doesn't color blind mean, that you can never distinct green from other colors, only?

yes, but that was what our biology teacher said. *shrugs*

according to Wiki:

Protanopia (1% of males): /.../ Violet, lavender, and purple are indistinguishable from various shades of blue because their reddish components are so dimmed as to be invisible. E.g. Pink flowers, reflecting both red light and blue light, may appear just blue to the protanope.

well, I've just asked my brother... (he studies Medicine at uni)

he says that the more common one, is the one that Ella mentioned.. which is that you can't differentiate green from red..

and there's another one, which is between purple and yellow, but this is less common..

That's the kind of colourblindness my dad has... bright reds look so dim to him that they seem brown, and he has trouble telling the difference between reds, purples and sometimes blues, because none of them look right to him.

Colourblindness involving opposites is the most common- red and green, orange and blue, or yellow and purple.

I read an old interview with Jonny a few weeks ago where he mentioned the colourblindness. Kind of funny considering just how associated Radiohead are with their artwork. Guess it explains why Thom usually posts about art stuff while Jonny usually posts about music. *shrugs*

I mix yellow with green and red with brown mostly

thanks for the info!

thought they were real....... :bigcry:

but he did a good job.
