Coldplaying piano players: just saying, Postcards From Far Away is a really easy song to learn, and it impresses people a lot.

I miss my piano class, I used to be able to practice all the time :( I would love to learn the scientist, but I kinda returned my piano/keyboard that I used to practice on in order to get money for coldplay tickets....ironic huh :P

My aunt has a piano I can practice on but with my cousins running around I can't concentrate and I just dnt have time to go to her house :(

Im hoping to get a piano again or ask my aunt to give me hers. eventhough not sure where I would put it, its an electric one but it still wont fit in my room :\

I just really miss playing though :( it was such a stress reliever!

okok, except maybe princess of china, of which we have no real good version yet since it's been played only once so far.

but i focus on the guitar & piano

Well then thanks Juanma (sorry I don't know your name :( ) very much.

That's right I posted some vids on new songs.

None, I really wish I could sing. If I could sing then I'd learn an instrument!

But got to say that singing and playing at the same time is quite painful. It works for easy songs like Clocks or I don't know most of Coldplays and all the easy 4 chords songs but when I first tried to sing for example Sara Bareilles' "King Of Anything" I died. So it takes a lot of practice to do that or I'm just not talented enough and had to spend some time at that one.

But despite that it's really worth it.

I can play the first two notes to The Scientist :wink3:. Yeah I know, I'm a talented guy.

Bloody hell, you guys can play A LOT of Coldplay songs.

All I can play is Clocks, Politik and The Scientist on the piano.

I don't have a piano right now, so it kinda sucks. :(

Do you want me to do a tutorial?

If you want to that would be great! like i said before its hard for me to move my fingers in different speeds and different positions but if you can make a tutorial you would be helping many people not just myself!

What a great idea! We have a big winter/Christmas fest here, and I'd LOVE to play Christmas Lights for it! Thanks for the idea, and good luck learning it. :)

Okay just tell me one thing should I insert the vocal line notes into the video too?

And I think I play it pretty much like the original so don't worry.

Of course thanks to the lovely Moses (The Marshmallow one of course) who got the "when you're still waiting for the snow to fall" part correct and that helped me pretty much. Thanks again Moses!

ever since i heard christmas lights ive wanted to do that its my goal for this year lol

Okay. I'll do the playing part (but even though when I play the chorus I play the vocal line too [cause it's possible what I cannot say about the verses and 'waiting' part]) and if there will be a need for that I'll add another video with the vocal line is that ok? I don't play it because I sing so I never tried to do that but even if you'll not play it the song will sound beautiful. It's my dad's favourite lol.

I'll be blessed to help you achive your goal :D But when I was playing this right now, I noticed that it's a very complicated song. Well, definitely one of the most difficult (at least I think so) of Coldplay to play, so you'll have to be armed with patience.
