Hey guy's this is what I got from Life in technicolor - Chris Acoustic Guitar

I don`t know the name of the chords, cause I never took guitar classes or anything. I would like to know what you guys think of the tab and if it`s correct.

Cause, I think it is.

 

Tuning? standard

verse and sometimes he uses this last chord

On the "Hear" you play the third chord, then on the "the siren" you play the 4th chord, and then the first chord.

d|--4--12--7--2--4--2--7

a|--4--12--7--2--4--2--7

e|--2--10--5--0--2--0--5

it's utterly wrong... well not completely, but not close to the original. the chords you have are basically right, so that's not the problem...

except the part "i can hear the siren's sound" etc, there he goes (only saying the fret of the low e string) 2-10-5-4-2-0-5

 

the tuning is EADGC#C#

the general chord shape (!) for minor chords is:

C#-|--0

C#-|--0

G---|--2

D---|--4

A---|--4

E--- |--2

(this example is F#m)

 

the general shape for major chords:

C#-|--0

C#-|--0

G---|--11

D---|--12

A---|--12

E--- |--10

this is Dmaj7

 

just move these up and down the frets, the low e string played with the thumb.

there is one variation also, before the E he plays Esus4 first...

 

we have the correct tabs around here already, you're 3 years late, not kidding ._.

use the search first next time

 

oh and well, if you don't want another tuning, then just don't . i mean it still sounds okay in standard tuning, i play it like that quite often

I was just checking if the way I play it was correct... It sounds great to me.

But I`m not a professional or anything and I know Chris almost always use another tuning, and I love to play with other tunnings =]

damn i tried to make it sound not too harsh! no offense really...

but we already have threads you could have posted it in, you know?^^

 

why do you need confirmation when it's all fine with you? that's the way you should go, do your own thing, don't care about the other stuff when everything is ok to you!

oh, and you don't have to be a professional to play something good btw:D
