Anyone Else Feel The Earthquake Along The US East Coast?

Featured Replies

That was pretty weird, I've never felt an earthquake before.

YES!!! It was surreal!! I've never felt one before either... I was at my office, sitting at my desk... I thought a truck was driving by, but it was too long in duration to be a truck. In the back of my mind I was like "its an earthquake... its an earthquake".... but I still couldn't believe it!!!

insane.

I don't know... is there? :P

but for people who don't frequent the lounge... is it a crime for it to be in here? :uhoh:

It is NEWS.... :(

I love how the news is talking about how people fled out of buildings. It wasn't that bad, at least not here in Philly.

well in NY it has a different feeling as the last time building shook it was because the Twin Towers got struck. I can understand why people in the city were a little on nerve...

My office building was one of those who evacuated.....

I just don't want to feel that again.. but at least I know what it feels like now...

And no one knew what to do because it's not like we have earthquake practices or anything

I didn't feel it. I'm actually kind of disappointed because I sort of want to experience what an earthquake is like

I wasn't working in the city... I had friends/fam that were. What I mean is that being in a NYC high rise... and you feel the building shake... immediately takes you back to the 9/11 when perhaps they felt the same thing because the Towers were hit. Neighboring buildings (most of lower Manhattan) felt the impact as their buildings shook. As for me... it reminded me of that day because for the rest of the day... its all everyone was talking about.... no work was done.
