CarKids Relation

The Oracle's already confirmed that it was simply a track title that didn't make it into the Album

Well, actually she didn't say it didn't make the album, even though I doubt it is a hidden track, although that would explain why UATW got the CK symbol...

What the Oracle said was that Car Kids was going to be on MX but didn't make it to the tracklisting and we might hear it someday. So, just for the sake of playing the devil's advocate, I could claim that all she meant was that Car Kids wasn't on the tracklisting in the same way that Chinese Sleep Chant wasn't on Viva's tracklisting...

Not that I believe any of this, just saying it's possible...

Car Kids will probably be a b-side to possibly Charlie Brown

It's not that possible though, because we already know the track times. We assumed there would be hidden songs on VLVODAAHF because there were three songs that were really long. Lovers in Japan, Yes and Death and All his Friends were all above six minutes.

Nothing on MX is that long. The longest track is Charlie Brown, and it's still under five minutes. We know that Car Kids is a full length, proper song. So we can assumed it would be at least 3 minutes long.

The times don't add up. Car Kids isn't on the album. It won't be a bonus track.

I think we'll certainly hear it, but it won't be for a while yet. Which is sad, because Chris seemed to like it a lot.

She did actually say that it didn't make it on the final track listing for Mylo Xyloto

Q. I've been wondering this for a long while now as I'm sure many others have, it was on Chris' shirt, the home page background. What does Car Kids mean? Is it a lyric or a song on the new album? Thanks Oracle!!

The Oracle replies:

Yeah, as far as I know it was a song pencilled in for inclusion on Mylo Xyloto but didn't make it on to the final tracklisting. We may hear it one day, who knows?

The truth is that we will always wonder (or at least for a long time) what the hell is Car Kids. But the truth is out there. :D

Maybe Car Kids is the youth organization of the famous old painters. :wink3:
