So that confirms the part one/part two theory I voiced yesterday. There is no doubt this will be a concept album at this point, not?

If the alien theory is true, would this be the first album in history bearing the name of an alien? :O

 

Also, is the alien coming from the future? (Back To The Future being played at the beginning of gigs)

This seems like it might be right.

 

The world is in turmoil (a world war maybe?), an alien species comes to check what's going on, and then the humans turn on the aliens (kind of like District 9). The two lovers (their story referenced in Part 1 of the album) beg Mylo Xyloto to take them on the UFO, and they leave as the Earth explodes behind them (Moving to Mars).

 

Imagine the booklet art?

I agree with everything except the humans turning on the aliens. I think the war is between big brother and the rebels and in the end the only hope that remains comes from outer space...regardless it would be an amazing concept album

I think at this point i have no doubt it is a character, but the question is who?

Maybe he's the Running Man?

The first name Mylo surely suggests this is a person. Xyloto suggests he/she is someone not from around here...but yes why not the running/flying man? It could be!

Also, what about the way to write Myl Oxyl Oto. Oxyl...exile??

 

Edit: Oxyl, according to Wiktionary, can mean "A compound or radical bound to an oxygen by a single bond". That would be a metaphor for humans. We need oxygen to live.

I initially thought the way they parted Mylo Xyloto on the cover could have a significance, but I am starting to think it was only for aesthetic purposes...
