It was announced yesterday by EMI Sweden and TV2 Norway. It's a promo gig for Scandinavian fans and tickets can only be won. The gig will be broadcasted in the scandinavian countries, and this is as much as I could unterstand, if there's any swedish or norwegian coldplayer who can translate there might be further info in the following links :)

The links just say that it is an exclusive concert with an exclusive interview with the band before the concert.

Tickets will not be sold but can only be won.. They have moved the concert to "Folketeatret" ("The people's theatre") in order to let in more people. There are 1400 tickets all in all..

There is an age-limit of 18 years at this concert!

Actually the age limit is 20 years..

I really don't hope this means they won't come to Norway when the real tour starts! Because I desperately need to see them again, and I'm only 17.

So they better visit Norway and do a proper gig :wink3:

And by the way, "Senkveld" is one of the worst shows in Norway, so expect an interview where they only want to know about why Rihanna featured on the album and how she was like.

Hmm. One page says 18 and the other one 20.. so.. Hmm.. Don't know which is right..

I found this

English translation:

Cancelled concerts in Scandinavia seems to be an infectious disease of global artists right now. First it was Rihanna who set up both in Malmö and Stockholm. Now it's Coldplay who are forced to withdraw a planned launch concert in Folketeateret in Oslo on Friday. The reason is that singer Chris Martin has become ill.

- They were playing in Germany yesterday, but now he is ill and can not play. We know no more, says Emma Finn Kvist, promotions manager at the record company EMI to Expressen.

The idea behind the concert was that the band would launch his new album "Mylo Xyloto". Tickets for the concert have been distributed through various media and websites. The concert was also filmed and broadcast on TV or online in the Nordic countries.
