North American tour announced

21 dates in America and Canada for 2012

 

Good morning. We are very pleased to announce that Coldplay will head to North America in 2012 for a string of shows in the USA and Canada.

 

Tickets go on general sale on Saturday, 17 December at 10am (local time) from 1-800-745-3000, Ticketmaster.com and LiveNation.com. Before that, you can use any American Express card to purchase advance tickets, from Monday, 12 December, at 10am (local time) until Friday, 16 December, at 10pm (local time). The advance AMEX tickets will be available from here for all shows except Portland (here) and Houston (here). NB: The tickets for the two LA Bowl shows will not go on sale until January 2012.

I am so there. Missed the chance to see them the last 2 times they came to DC, and they finally picked a day that I'm in town. So much win.

I'll be in DC over the summer, and would love to see Coldplay while I'm here. How much do tickets usually go for?

It says 49.50-107.50 excluding fees.

I live closer to Philly, but I'll be in the Annapolis area the week of the 4th of July, so I'll probably be here. :D

I need help!! I want to buy 4 tickets, but i've already bought tickets for other concerts so I don't have a lot of money left so I want to know which seats are good and cheap at the same time!!

Call them!!! I finally gave up and called, they gave me tickets over the phone, pretty good section too. you'll just need to be on hold for a couple of minutes!

The password for the preferred seating is the phone number on the back of your AmEx card.

I'm really disappointed that they're doing floor seating for this show...

I'm really sad right now, my mother just told me that she already spent a lot of money with the credit card so it seems that I won't be going to this gig. I can't believe that Coldplay will be playing at the same city where i'll be only staying one year and I won't go :( I'm feeling really bad, here in south america we have to wait YEARS to see them only once and now that I had this great opportunity to see them I won't go :bigcry: Do you think that if I stay outisde of the Verizon Center i'll hear something? :\

I don't know if you'll hear it from outside, but last time they came here they played two shows,the other at merriwheter post pavilion, so they may add another date, or come again.

*sigh* Im jealous. I dont even know what to do. I cant get tickets til Saturday.

 

As of now, I am going by myself. if I am going by myself, I definitely have to be in front to really have a good time. At the same time, I dont know if I may end up getting someone to come with me at a later date. I was thinking I should buy a ticket when they go onsale for everybody and try to sell it if I end up getting another one if someone else comes with me. Then again its kinda hard to sell just one ticket!

I don't even know. I THINK my parents tried to get tickets but the AMEX was so busy that it didn;t happen.

And I only know this because I'm extremely good at reading emails from afar. I think they're scared to tell me...
