Coldplay to play 13 new dates in 9 countries

 

Good morning. Following yesterday's North American tour announcement, we're pleased to unveil Coldplay's European stadium dates for summer 2012. The dates announced so far are as follows, with pre-sale and general links provided (all times given are local times):

Spain, Belgium and Norway are the big ones missing from this schedule, and they'll most likely be slid in somewhere. There are gaps in the schedule, especially in September, where these could easily go.

 

As far as the eastern Europe dates, who knows, but this tour is supposed to last until summer 2013 so I'm sure they'll get there at some point. The specifically said Finland and Russia would be included, so I'd say it's likely at some point.

 

Just be patient, I'm sure this crazy tour schedule might make sense someday. I have to wait until they announce something in Ohio, as the closest show to me is Chicago, which is not doable at all. Hang in there!

I don't know if I should wait for them to announce some date for Norway, which should happen, or buy tickets for the show in Sweden just in case. :uhoh:

While most of this seems possible, especially since this tour schedule so far has been very unusual, the Australia/NZ and Japan dates don't seem right. I'd think they'd be able to do singular stadium shows in each city, or at least multiple nights in arenas. The the venues for Japan are VERY small.

 

Plus, the large amount of Scottish dates seems very unusual.
