Just curious. I see that there is generally mostly threads about alternative/rock bands down here. Now Im askin what you generally listen to, not just a genre you have like 5 songs you like [which would be country for me]

 

I mostly listen to all kinds of rock excluding screamo, R&B/Soul/Neosoul, Pop/Dance, and Hip Hop.

Tends to be alt rock, nu-folk (Mumford, Noah&The Whale, Laura Marling etc) indie pop, indie rock... that sort of thing!

 

Although, that said, I like classical, jazz, lmusic from the 20s and 60s... Very eclectic tastes really!

And then some bands which I can't really categorise, like Sigur Ros and Apparatjik :laugh3:

Mostly jazz (a lot of electronic and nu-jazz) and Indie. Also a lot of Americana, Folk and Gothic Country.

Hmm, mostly Indie Pop, Indie Rock, Indie Folk and pop/rock songs.

I don't really care for genres. I like good music from any genre.

If I like a pop song, I'll listen to it. LOUD AND PROUD. :D I'm not pretentious...

 

The only thing I don't like is metal. And simple, pathetic electronic music a la Guetta, Pitbull, etc.

Anything really, as long as it isn´t crap imo. I usually hate some mexican genres like corridas o reggeton.

britpop, rock, soul and jazz (Coldplay, Oasis, Travis, Guns and roses, Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, The verve, Keane, U2, Red Hot Chilly Peppers... Amy Winehouse, Adele, Sarah vaughan,Dinah washington, Donny Hathaway...) all kind of music that makes me feel something special.

I don't really classify what I listen to by genres. If it sounds good to my ears, I like it. Plain and simple.
