  • I've been a Muse fan for a couple of years now. I liked a couple of their hits but then a friend invited me to come with him to a Muse concert with him in 2013. The live experience was amazing and I h

I'd recommend Absolution. :wacky:

Absolution, the Origin of Symmetry, then Resistance, then Black Holes and Revelations, then Showbiz. :nice:

Heyhey guys. Love the Grammy chat and spam that's been going on in teh house.

Also loving the facebook group. Joined it as predicted, care not who is judging me (i.e. all my housemates).

Uhhh. Yeah. That's all I have to say about that I think

I've had a mix of the New Born solo and the piano in the beginning of Starlight stuck in my head all day. :bomb:

I have a 3-4 minute pop culture speech I have to prepare. The outline is due Wednesday. I'm thinking of using Muse as my topic. :awesome:

It will probably happen, guys.

OK, so what do you reckon I should cram into 3-4 minutes that's most relevant about them, other than the blatantly obvious? (e.g. albums, band members, etc.)

What exactly is the presentation? Like, what point is it supposed to make?

I basically have free range here. My professor said to talk about something that you have a passion for. Hence, Muse makes complete sense.

I'm probably going to model it similar to how a girl in my class did her speech about Kings of Leon this afternoon. She basically gave general information that we needed to know. It's informative. :nice:

I guess the musical influences... The political and supernatural and alien themes pumped into everything they do. The Grammy win of course. Maybe band formation?

And how they are all so, so fine. Damn. :wink3:

^Oh snap. That must have been an epic speech about KoL. A girl after my own heart.
