86Timewarp
From Hal Leonard: (Keep in mind they give you the chords for standard tuning, not the chords for the way Chris plays) "This table shows the guitar tunings supplied by Chris Martin to show how Coldplay perform these songs." Hurts Like Heaven: EBEG#BE (Capo 6) Charlie Brown: EADGAD (Capo 4) Us Against the World: EADF#AE (Capo 3) Every Teardrop is a Waterfall: DADGAE Major Minus: EADGBE (Capo 10) Princess of China: EADGBE (Capo 10) UFO: CGDGBD (Capo 2) Up With the Birds: EADGBD (Capo 7)
teddypeak
It`s not actually the true info... because: -not all of the guitars are tuned like that (usually only one guitar, because sometimes in the recording there are more than one used, overdubs and stuff like that) *Charlie Brown - EADGAD (you have to tune down a semitone to match the original recording) *Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall - standard (if you wanna play keyboard parts using guitar then put a capo on 2nd fret) *Major Minus - EADGGB (no capo!!!) *Princess of China - standard, no capo) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ THE TUNINGS IN THE REST OF THE SONGS ARE CORRECT

splintercell37
I LOVE YOU <3 Edit: Although yeah, I'm pretty sure Major Minus has no capo! Edit edit: Those are some whacked out tunings!!
approximately
I'm pretty sure that there is no capo on major minus and for charlie brown you have to tune it down a semitone - and THAT is the way chris plays it. getithom
Major Minus is not capoed. I'm very positive the song is tuned down on Chris' guitar.
86Timewarp
Major Minus isn't capo-ed yes, this might've been the tunings for the studio version in my opinion.

garvmg
Chris is right about UFO but the studio version doesn't have a capo on the 2nd fret
vander
What the heck? Who came up with these tunings? Charlie Brown, Major Minus and POC are all incorrect. There's also UFO, there's no way he's using a capo on the 7th fret. Can't you hear it?
