Well, i have a lot of free time at work and im looking for good books to read

 

 

some ive read are

 

Harry potter series

Of mice and men

animal farm

1984

and im reading the hunger games series

 

 

ive read more but cant think of any

 

so please list some good books!

I don't read very much, but I really liked The Outsiders, which I read in 7th grade, and The Great Gatsby which I read this year. The latter you'll probally read in school if you haven't already, and it's a little advanced in its subject matter, but I thought it was great. Those two are standouts for me, and I usually don't like books, so that must mean they're pretty good.:)

 

Oh, and Jurassic Park is good too of you liked the movie. It goes a lot deeper, but there might be some gruesome stuff in there. It's pretty good though.

I second many of these, especially 'The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo' trilogy. Also my favorite classic, 'Wuthering Heights'. Further, the 'A Song of Fire and Ice' series of which the 'Game of Thrones' tv series is based.

It depends on which kind of books you like to read... I love El Túnel (The Tunnel) by Ernesto Sabato; I don't know how hard it is to find it in english, but if you come across it, you should definitely read it.

I've read both of those in school as well and enjoyed both of them. I think "The Great Gatsby" took a little bit more effort to get into, but that's alright.

:nod: "Frankenstein" in particular is SO much better in book form than it is in movie format. The tone is much darker. The other two are just fine as well.

YES YES YES. The book is ten times better than the movie, and I'm a huge fan of the movie. My brother (who hates reading) even said it's probably the best book he has ever read. Please check it out.
