Phantom Planet played a show at BJ's Bar in Fredonia, NY showcasing the new songs they have for their new album. They're only half way done the album but from what i hear, this album is gonna be the best yet!! I can't wait....that'll be on the top of my "CD's to buy" list....YAY!! :)

phantom planet, isnt that the dude from rushmore, jason schwartzmann 2nd from left right? rushmore is one of my fave films "these are o.r. scrubs" max: "o, r they?" :D i've only heard a few songs of theirs..ive got this one comp where they do a cover of "somebody's baby" by Jackson Browne which i really liked..at least i think it was them? yeah im sure it was...

"Somebody's Baby" is one of PP's cover songs...it's pretty catchy..hahaha.. :)

Well, if you were to listen to some songs, some compare them to early radiohead (which i don't really hear...maybe in only one song) but they've got an interesting mix of sounds.... :-D

 

You should take a listen to their album the Guest, if you have time..... :)
