Hey all, so I went to Lollapalooza last year to see Coldplay, and needless to say it was the best concert I've ever been to. I was like 5 rows back and they put on an amazing show that no other band I've ever seen could compete with. UNTIL a few weeks ago. My buddy took me to a concert by a local Columbus band (I go to OSU) called Twenty One Pilots. I had never heard of them, and thought it would be nothing more than seeing a mediocre band play for $5. I was blown away. I've been to many concerts, and Coldplay topped the list by a mile, but this local band is nipping at their heels. The show was literally amazing and their music was fantastic. Seeing as though I enjoyed it so much, I figured maybe other Coldplay fans have similar music taste as me and would be interested in hearing a new sound. This is not a promotion of any sort, as I am in no way affiliated with the band, I just wanted to see if anyone else here shares the same opinion as me about their music (and I greatly respect the opinion of any fan of Coldplay, because they clearly have excellent taste in music). It was not really the Coldplay side of me that liked it, it was more the Foster The People and The Killers part hehe. I really liked that, his singing is interesting, I didn't love any of the songs you've put here, but I can feel a potential there :D.

yes he has a very interesting singing voice! one of the reasons I think they are so different and have so much potential. Here's a couple more of their songs
