Easiest things to start off playing on guitar...

Featured Replies

What are some of the easiests songs to start off playing on an accoustic guitar? Any suggestions? Can you include a link to the chords/tabs?

Thanks!

uuhh.. i'm not the best person to talk about guitars since i'm a bass players... but still... i can play a few songs on my acoustic guitar:

Coldplay's green eyes was the first song i learned, and it's really easy... Oasis' Stand By Me and Travis' driftwood aren't hard too... Oh, and radiohead's exit music is easy too.

Oh, and you can find these songs tabs here:

Greenday - Good Riddance

Oasis - Wonderwall

Badly Drawn Boy - Pissing in the Wind

basically anything with powerchords is easy! :D

little nemo, I wouldn't pick wonderwall, you have to use some chords like B or F# in which you have to use a bar (well I don't know how to put it, when you have tu use your finger to silence the strings you don't want to sound)... I would recommend One I love (in a chord version) which is basicly A C G D all the time..

or you could play Green eyes... yes, green eyes is my pick. Oh, and try help is round the corner

my bad.. I thought you were talking about all around the world... wonderwall is good! :embarrased:

All of Coldplay's music is pretty basic and easy on the guitar, just pick one.

All of Coldplay's music is pretty basic and easy on the guitar' date=' just pick one.[/quote']

Love is all around is easy! :) "I feel it in my fingers..." Hehe.

the first song i learned how to play was 3 Libras by A Perfect Circle... A very simple but beautiful song that i still enjoy playing

little by little(oasis) is easy

and talk tonight(oasis)

and everybody hurts (R.E.M)

They're the ones I'm ok at playing and I don't really play the guitar :stunned:

Whats wrong with this song.

It is the easiest song on guitar, especially if you have trouble playing chords

I fucking hate the G chord. Fucking hard.

And B isn't too good either

Just my $0.02 :P

White Stripes-7 Nation Army

ahhh!

stop the gayness

Whats wrong with this song.

It is the easiest song on guitar, especially if you have trouble playing chords

because the song licks

its the most repitive riff ive ever heard

That doesn't deny the fact that it's piss easy to play though, does it?

If you learn Wonderwall by Oasis, you can play D'you Know What I Mean? by Oasis as well ;) Then also Talk Tonight and Writing To Reach You by Travis. After that Songbird by Oasis is easy as well :)
