I was surprised at that also ... I said to myself "Well, maybe this comment is inappropriate. After all, there are TWO posts."

The only reason he/she is here is to promote their band.

Maybe Ian should make it so you can only create a thread after you've posted X times (say 20).

thats a good idea, I dont know how he could do that, unless he knows php, or there's a mod for it. He'd have to make to where you could only start threads in the Newbie section, until you hit X posts...

it looks like all the pages are being done in php (based on the url above) and i'm sure itwould be rather easy. one of the question would be whether it represents a drain on the system, whether in resources or response time. depending on how he has his data organized it might.

What's wrong if they just came here to promote their band or someone's else band? More people used to sign in to the forum, because of the multimedia forum just to download songs and they never posted....

I think I created a thread in my 3r or 4r post, just to ask help for a summer festival... :dozey:
