A good one will run you around $100-$300. You have to shop around. I know Dean and Fender are awesome home-name brands

It goes hand-in-hand which model you choose. I know my friend's guitar was a little expensive then mine since he's amp (the part of the guitar that has knobs for amplifier control,) has a built-in tuner. Also, you can get a fairly decent guitar and buy good quality strings for it to make it sound better. It's all about preference :P

You just match the notes up with the correct pitch of the song.

There's only 12 notes you can choose from, so it's not difficult. Once you've got all the notes it's a piece of cake to work out what the chords are.

Also you have to find the right pitch so C2 might be a bit low, but C4 is right, then you have you have to figure out chords that match the fingering :wreck:
