I've noticed that more than one person on this mb is a vegetarian.

I've tried to go meatless for about a month and the worst part of it is that there is no variety. And if you want to go eat at a restaurant, forget about it. There's nothing except grilled vegetables on the menu. :/

i'm a vegetarian. it's not bad at all

until mad celery disease comes out :stunned:

im almost an anti-vegetartian, i hardly eat vegetables, if i had to eat salad for the rest of my life id die!

I'm a veggie :)

although I had some chicken on crimbo day and I liked so maybe I'll bend the rules a little

(i had lots 'o fish and pork this weekend, no beef yet  )

I can't live with bacon baby! :sneaky:

technically, i don't think you're allowed to live in Canada if you're a vegetarian. whlie some people in canada are veggies, they stay underground.

I didn't know that!

Had shrimp today. I love Red Lobster!

:chef:

I haven't had meat since the quarterpounder... :o

So can you eat the meat...just not the brain or spinal chord? What are the real facts??

Supposedly (or so they say) you can eat the meat (you know like the muscle part), but the problem is the way that they process the meat. So if they scrape some of the bone of in the process of cutting the meat, then there is the possibility that if it is contaminated, you could get the disease. And I think I have read that they have tested meat that should not have brain or spinal chord parts in it, but still test positive. So who knows what's safe or not. We probably already ate bad meat that was imported from another country. :/

Oh well, I can live with having depression, sensory problems and the like.

I'm trying to decide if mad cow is anything like the feeling I have listening to this Dashboard Confessional album.

I should keep an open mind, though.

Since I don't know you're feelings about Dashboard Confessional, I don't know your position on BSE.

   It's probably not a good one!

I wasn't so bad ... I was being a baby. It had some decent songs.

Poor little baby! I miss the smeagol!

I miss him, too ...

... but it had run its course. I didn't want to ruin it by handing on to it too long.

Tis allright...he will rest in peace! ;)
