Coldplay's "Sixth Man" Award

Featured Replies

One of my favorite parts of Live 2012 was getting to see all of the behind the scenes people who have been working hard for years to help get the band to where they are today. We all know that Phil Harvey is without a doubt the official fifth member of the band so that got me thinking... who would you vote for for Coldplay's "Sixth Man" award?

Simon Pegg

Davide Rossi, without him, were would viva be or paradise?

Simon Pegg

All kidding aside, Simon Pegg (as great as he is) has had very little to do with the actual production of any of the band's work. A vocal on 1:36 is his only credit if i'm not mistaken. An apperance in the Christmas Lights video and a few times on stage at most. Who do you really think has made the strongest behind the scenes contribution album wise?

That's a different question. I still think Simon Pegg is the "Sixth Man".

Simon Pegg is the 6 Million Dollar man.... BUT, you didn't have him on your list, so I will choose Worldwide manager Dave Holmes, cause nobody else will:P Also Miss Vicki could be considered the 6 Million dollar person, for she is highly involved with almost every aspect of this band, except for the music part, IMO. She is very important to this band.

Hopkins, without him there wouldn't be so many layers of sound on Viva and MX. Davide is really important too.

I'm voting Ken Nelson, because he's Worked for 3 albums of Coldplay
