March 7, 201610 yr The number is indeed 2.4 ! @flockofbirds222 - can you give your reasoning for these choices ? Well I thought it were two sentences but my reason for talk is "in the future where will I be?" And for violet hill this thing I read recently about 42 (the number 42 together with the number 2 just reminded me of your riddle):
March 7, 201610 yr Alright, I think it's a fairly easy one but well.... 42 to the power of 2.4 years from now, he will have to look in a different place. Sorry about your stress.[emoji47]
March 7, 201610 yr Or, see you soon: I'll look for you in a telescope lens. Won't have to. Will have joined them! Wild guess.
March 7, 201610 yr No and no....but good guesses ! Keep thinking about what else changes over long timespans like this one :)
March 7, 201610 yr Twisted Logic "Hundreds of years in the future..." But we are talking about thousands of years :) No....
March 8, 201610 yr Let's see: People pass on and in this many years, at the rate we are going, earth may not be here either!
March 8, 201610 yr Army of one! Been around the world, looking for someone like you! There... The reference to our planet (world) and looking for someone!!! :). Pats self on back even if wrong because this makes so much sense!!!
March 8, 201610 yr Unfortunately both wrong, but nice guesses ! Hm let me see what other clues I can give....
March 8, 201610 yr Maybe a clue about the era or the type of thing that would change in 7,000+ years? Assuming that the exact # of years isn't significant.
March 8, 201610 yr Think about what specifically in a sky full of stars might be different in 8000 years :)
March 8, 201610 yr No... I can only emphasize, think about specifically what will change in a sky full of stars in 8000 years. Here's another hint - 4000 years from that it will be different again. I am pretty sure you heard about this somewhere at some point in your life (unless you have a particular aversion against astronomy ;))
