Guess coldplay song

Featured Replies

Very creative guesses, all. But no. You are going to be surprised at how deceptively simple this one is. Go back to that line above the picture:

Picture this: etc. (sorry, I don't have the exact words here, but something like, "a form of...").

Clue #4: Another word for what's in the picture (you are calling it a suitcase) is _ _ u _ _. Now go back to that sneaky little line " a form of". Don't forget that clue #2 is unrelated.

Clue #5: About clue #2: "a compact form of". We NOW can hear about: Compact, as in mini or condensed. If you have what this song is about, well, it could be considered a compact form of the answer song!

I hope I haven't given it away. It seemed I was leading everyone down the rabbit hole like Alice.

Clue #1: the other word for it, as in "steamer" _.

Where does clue #1 take you? Are you sure it's about a line? Or could it be about something else to help get you there? Oh the mystery!

Another try:

Compact could be abbreviated.

Suitcase or Trunk - as in trunkated.

What we hear now...

Hymn for the weekend?

Hmm, still thinking...

So Clue 1 refers to a type of trunk which can lead you to either the title or lyrics or something else WHICH leads you to the song?

And Clue 2 is something we hear about in condensed form that leads us to an intermediate song (Coldplay song, I'm assuming?)?

Sorry, all. Very busy day! I don't feel well so I'm going to turn this one over to I Ran Away, who correctly guessed the target song, Paradise! The form of trunk we were looking for was indeed the elephant version! The interim song, however, was not ETIAW, although the rationale to get there was valid.

Go back to Clue #2, where I emphasized that we could NOW hear the compact version - NOW was supposed to lead to Album 7. The later clue about it, clue #5 was :If you have what this song is about, well, it could be considered a compact form of the answer song!". So the interim answer was "Amazing Day". If you are having an amazing day, it could be a mini-version of paradise! I also snuck in a clue when I said I was sorry if I "led you down the rabbit hole like Alice", referring to Alice in Wonderland, with that hinting at Paradise.

Very clever early answers about traveling, when the suitcase/trunk reference wasn't literally meant to be about it. Over to I Ran Away. Have fun!!

Thank you, @iamsue ! Sorry to hear you have not been well. You made a mysterious and clever riddle as always !

Not sure if I'm deserving this since I really only got the elephant part right, but well :)

Here is my riddle - and it is completely different. Nothing to do with lyrics or words at all.

Life in Technicolooooooooooor ii

Ahfod because it's the 2nd (ii) "colorful" coldplay album (sound and cover), so I just guess the title song, ahfod

Hope you get well soon, @iamsue !

Ok let's see. Maybe Color Spectrum?

The Goldrush?

- it is on the Life in Technicolor ii single

- the "ooooooooooo" reminds me of the Goooooo-oooold (and there are plenty of oooooo-sounds in it)

- "Or" is French for Gold

- Will is the singer and so this song deserves to be a winner in the guess Coldplay song. :D

Strawberry swing? Gravity? (I looked at the lines after the 'oohoh's in litii, they lead me to those two songs) or Every teardrop is a waterfall? ('Won't you take me where the streetlights glow... I can hear the siren sound' in litii -> 'maybe the streets alight... every siren is a symphony' in etiaw)

O

Three reasons:

1. "Oh oh love don't let me go"

2. The prevalence of "o" assonance in the words *(blowing, glowing, cold, radio, go, glow, won't, oh, road, goes, don't, hold)

3. There is a section toward the end where only "o" is sung.

No and no again. I'm gonna reveal more now. As I already hinted, it is not about lyics, but about the music. Listen to the highlighted part of LiTii. The very same melody is hidden in one other song. Find this song :)

Viva la Vida?

Yay! :) I was going through so many songs, and then I remembered, "that's right, the audience does that part in Viva la Vida!"

*NEW RIDDLE*

In order to fully appreciate this song, you must live in the Northern Hemisphere.

Violet Hill?

"Was a long and dark December"

Violet Hill?

"Was a long and dark December"

Yes! I'm not the only one who realized only the Northern Hemisphere has snow in December haha.

YOUR TURN!

Yay! :) I was going through so many songs, and then I remembered, "that's right, the audience does that part in Viva la Vida!"

The audience ? Really ?

I only noticed when listening to the Viva La Vida instrumental
