February 22, 201313 yr Jo asked the boys if they'd like to do an "acoustic tour". Hmm, that may be different, but I'd prefer an MX sort. Good interview with the boys though, was great to hear from them :D, and to hear that they've been in the studio makes me excited too, even if it is just for an hour every now and again :D.
February 22, 201313 yr Oh puh-lease. I hope Dom was being sarcastic. Whilst Muse do put on a visually spectacular show, like Coldplay, Matt has no connection with the audience. Chris is miles ahead of him here in that he is genuine, warm and makes an effort to acknowledge the audience. I agree. They put on incredible shows but for me, the tunes just ain't there and they just don't have onstage charisma in the way better live bands like Coldplay have. I remember watching their Glastonbury 2010 performance and I was bored out of my mind after 20 minutes and was such a far cry from Blur, Springsteen the previous year and Coldplay and U2 the following year. That said perhaps Dom has reason to be surprised because the fact that The Rolling Stones were also nominated. If you're going to nominate them, just give them that award because no British band compares to them on stage in my view. Even if they are now old wrinkly men they can still put on a show. February 22, 201313 yr From the website of german radio-station SWR3: link Translation more or less: "And finally Coldplay beat primordial rockers Rolling Stones in the pensoiners' race for the best Live-Act" Pensioners? :stunned: :laugh3:
February 23, 201313 yr I was actually at The Brits. So happy for them :) I assumed Muse would win the award seeing as they had performed on the night, and I didnt even think Coldplay were attending! Almost cried when their name was read out and Will & Jonny stood up :D I took a pilgrimage to The Bakery beforehand too :P
February 23, 201313 yr Author There's no need to argue in this thread about something that has nothing to do with the Brit Awards. All off-topic posts have been removed.
