I asked around, and it was close to unanimous ... ... nobody working in these stores recommended the Xbox over PS/2. It was only five people total I asked, but it was pretty clear that if I was going to buy a system, based on my wants, the PS/2 was it. Thanks, everybody, for your help. I'm casting my vote now.
