that kiss in Nu is hawt is all i'm saying.

I get what you mean. :dazzled:

What's Nu?

It's a Danish short film starring by Mads Mikkelsen.

If you want to know what he says in the end. Check the spoiler.

In the end, it says "No one is saying anything. Why is no one saying anything?"

I'm addicted to this show, i started watching it last week and saw 8 episodes in one afternoon and the 3 left the next day.

I wanna do that with my friend which is a big fan of Mads Mikkelsen in summer vacation. *two weeks later* :awesome:

I borrowed Red Dragon from the library last week. Every time I finish reading a chapter. I feel so creepy and different especially when Will and Hannibal have the conversation. (I watched both the film and the novel two or three years ago.)

I'll have to check it out!

Oh and there was a movie on tv last night... Igor Stravinsky and Coco Chanel... if you're a Mads fan you should check it out.

although the cheesy mustache made him look like a 70s porn star; but I suppose it's appropriate for a couple of the scenes

Thank you! I've already ordered it from the library. :awesome:

I have same feeling with you.

For me, I feel peace and want to know what's going on in the end. My heart has broken since

Will has mild seizure.

Oh this pic does comfort me.

:awesome: awww, how adorable!

After last week I was sure that Abigail would be a gonner this week, but after seeing the brief description of this week's episode, it's not entirely clear. Now I'd say there's about a 90% chance that Hannibal will kill her, so it's not definite in my mind. We shall see. Regardless, Hannibal is trying to set up Will. Self-preservation trumps everything else in Hannibal's mind, and he probably thinks he is also doing Will a favor (by leading him to get locked up instead of killing him).

'Hannibal' Bryan Fuller on future: 'Silence of the Lambs is season five'

http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/ustv/news/a491414/hannibal-bryan-fuller-on-future-silence-of-the-lambs-is-season-five.html

I hope Hannibal will last... as much as they can.

:surprised: Oh my!

Watched the season finale last night; putting my comments in a spoiler in case anyone hasn't watched it yet:

Wow, that was such a great wrap-up for the season! I'm guessing that although Bryan Fuller had every intention of multiple seasons, he probably had to keep in mind that if for some reason it wasn't successful enough, NBC could cancel it. So last night's episode could have fit well under either scenario (series continuation or cancellation).

Aahh, Hannibal was making fishing lures (with body parts) to frame Will?!?? This guys thinks of everything! And he pretended that Will drew a perfect clock when he showed the (forged) picture to Alana... wow. So clever, in such an evil way. At the end when Will was locked up and greeted Hannibal, it's hard to tell how much time had passed. Obviously Will no longer has the infection affecting his brain, but were there other consequences to the treatment? Does he no longer have the ability to "see" crimes? Did he forget what he realized about Hannibal? It will be so interesting to see how everything unfolds next season. (Which won't be until next year. :snobby: ) I also want to know how Will will get out of there... assuming they plan to have him as a main character again next season.

I'm so glad I decided to start watching this show! :D

sobs because that finale

imagine if they didn't get signed for a second season? and we were left with that?

edit:

I was talking about this with my dad and I was like "oh wow, in Red Dragon Will had basically caught Hannibal (despite being almost killed by him), but in this it's like an alternate ending, with Will being severely injured and Hannibal walking free. Then I said that it's ironic, Hannibal walking into a jail, and then that got me thinking - for the next season, how interesting would it be if Will starts fucking with Hannibal's mind? Since their positions are reversed (Will in jail, Hannibal free) it would be interesting if Will became the manipulator. Anyway

I felt very creepy about the end of s1, but I think it's a great end. Let's wait s2.

Hannibal sobs when he meets his psychiatrist. I can't understand why he did that. Sorry for Abigail or Will? And I was hoping Abigail is still alive. (I think she's dead now.) Poor Will.

S2 will be interesting anyway.

~spoiler~

if people are going to read this thread and not expect spoilers they are silly so yeah

I think Hannbial was crying because he was upset about abigail, she was a lot like him and did kind of see her as his daughter but he needed to kill her to keep himself walking free he was smug as hell to see will in jail. That shot with will and winston made me cry and poor alana mostly because she now has 20 dogs to look after and no will :'(

I want to read the red dragon books but by what somebody else said I think there will be a new character involved instead of will I don't know when Clarice would come into it if they go that far...

^You can just read Red Dragon and Hannibal Rising.

Now that the season has ended, we have crackvid #4:

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4iad5PKIsR4]Hannibal Crackvid #4 - YouTube[/ame]

And in regard to one of the prior crackvids (I think it was #2), there were a couple of scenes that I didn't remember, but I didn't think anything of it at the time because the season wasn't done yet. But now I still don't recall seeing the scenes at all during the season. One of the clips was a young boy with a gun, and the other clip was Hannibal and Alana sitting in his office drinking the craft beer that he made her (this is a different scene than the one where they were cooking at his house). Do any of you remember those scenes? Or did I just completely forget them?!? :uhoh:

I remember the scenes, they just weren't key to the whole storyline.

First Thursday without Hannibal to watch. :bigcry:

Personally, I think Hannibal was crying because he was being his typical manipulative self. I don't think he had any remorse for killing Abigail.

I mean, he did (presumably) eat her, so he can't have felt too bad.

There's only one Red Dragon book, and it's all Will Graham. It's excellent, I just finished it a few days ago. Keep in mind that what NBC Hannibal covers is Will's background in Red Dragon; the main plot of Red Dragon is Will Graham vs. the Tooth Fairy. Very little Hannibal Lecter, even.

Those scenes are from the fourth episode (Ceuf), I believe. It was never aired because Bryan Fuller felt that the material would be a bit insensitive.

It's a pretty good episode though, and you can find it online (I downloaded it, shhhh!)

^ okay now I don't feel so bad for not remembering those scenes *whew*

I've ordered Red Dragon :nice:

:awesome:

The first time I read it was full of Anthony Hopkins.

But the second time is full of Mads Mikkelsen. ;)

oh great i'm going to have his face stuck in my head when im reading it

why did that not occur to me

Red Dragon's amazing, enjoy!

Watch the movie too if you get the chance - I didn't have high hopes but Ed Norton did a good job as Will Graham. It followed the book pretty well, but they transferred most of Dr Bloom's lines to Hannibal, probably to draw in the Silence of the Lambs crowd by featuring Lecter

  • 3 weeks later...

The movie is great.

Do you watch this yet? :awesome:
